Cant you not read or something?
spoken from max paynes mouth
- its an action adventure game
- there are multiple ''time powers''
- its takes what they learnt about gunplay from maxpayne and story from alan wake
- gameplay freezes in real time
that combined with the trailers and gameplay with have seen of it, if you cant picture in your mind what the game will play like then I feel sorry for you.
So RAD say in the GI article that its a a third person shooter, but they fail to make this crystal clear in other interviews?
that is precisely my point
In this interview they dont even mention gameplay?

How you play the game is the most important thing of any game, which is why they need to not only be more precise and specific about the gameplay but actually mention it.
I'am actually looking forward to a TPS set in Victorian London with great graphics. It is just a shame they could not of made it clearer from the get go that the order 1886 is a third person shooter with some investigating.
This thread is a testament to that. Its not hate just unclear marketing on RAD/sony's part, thus creating unclear expectations and inevitable confusion and disappointment.
Maybe this is what sony/RAD have been planning all along. Show the gameplay/action stuff first and there share other elements for E3?
Its is a good strategy but it does have its disadvantages.
