I get why when you attract the attention of so many people you will have private details violated. I still don't get why they think it's good enough to win the argument when the details revealed have nothing to do with the original incident.

As long as a photographer uses the images for editorial purposes, and if he took them while your child was in a public setting, they're within the law even if you don't give your consent. Exceptions may exist if the photos or recordings include sexual overtones.

Not so sure - that could be a really traumatic event at that age. Maybe the father/relatives can intervene or some sort of government supervision would be better.
