At least one of these claims isn't true. Why bother making stuff up? I love how people love to trash Miami, but making shit up about us won't make where you live suddenly as awesome as where we live. I don't see any Heat fans trashing fans of any other city. Why should we care? As Kanye would say, "Because my life is dope, and I do dope shit." No one's seen anything at Miami sports events that they don't see anywhere else in the country, except a higher concentration of beautiful women. And we're never apologizing for that. PEACE.

I get it every fanbase has ups and downs... the Miami fans didn't even try to hide that. I'll say it again, Ray would've been an absolute legend in Boston, he'll be just another guy in miami.

These have been my favorite Spurs playoffs since the first with Avery hitting that baseline shot. Beating rival Mavs, little bro Blazers, worst matchup OKC, and best player in the game Heat. It's been incredibly satisfying throughout.

Totes agree, though I believe it was Sean Elliott who hit the shot.

If Lebron, D-wade, and Bosh all opt out this year the Heat literally only have like one player under contract which is Norris Cole. I wonder what happens if those three decide to to break up? It would literally change the NBA. This offseason is gonna be great I cannot wait to see what happens.

It'll be interesting if somebody is stupid enough to pay Dwade at this point too.

So that's what, 2 out of the 8 Championships the Heat promised the fans? Pretty disappointing if you ask me. Plus, they got beat by two Texas teams, which I'll take any day. As much as I dislike the Spurs, I still respect them. They are my true rivals, even though they've stomped the Mavs lately. At least their series this year was actually well fought.

Rick Carlisle such a big time coach, he took that Mavs roster to a game 7 against the Spurs. Are you kidding me?? Elite, probably second best coach in the game after Pop.

I hate a lot on RC, but he's a damn good coach when he throws agendas aside. We are pretty lucky to have him, though he is lucky to have Dirk too! Dirk still doesn't really get enough credit for how awesome he played that year. It was fuckin magical lol! I'll never live it down. That was one of the best times of my life. I've put so much time and emotion into the Mavs man, it felt like I was up on stage with them holdin that trophy haha.

You know despite how his game is deteriorating he is still one of if not the best two guards in the league. It also helps that he is an efficient player. You can pay him it just should not be a max deal or long term.

Still can't believe DWade had just 11 points on 4-12 shooting .333. The dude that always played his heart out in NBA finals. Never did I expect him to come up small in last 3 games. He use to be such a great player, now he is just a shell of himself. Dude was one of my favorite players to watch too.

Top comment in video..Lol

I am one of your biggest fan Dwayne Wade but I think you need to retire man. You made lots of money and have a couple of rings already. You have nothing else to prove just retire with your health still intact and live a happy life. I don't wan't you to wake up one day with health problems due to chronic knee pain that could be a result if you continue to play. Anyways good luck rest of your life but seriously you need to retire.

He's not the best 2 guard. Not anymore.

It's easy to say Harden, but damn is he bad on D.

This may sound crazy, but I might take Klay at that spot. Still young with room to improve and a fantastic two way player.

Edit: man, the 2 guard position is down right now in the league when you think about it.

I've never seen a fanbase boo their own team in the NBA finals in what they knew could be their last game.

I've never seen a fanbase leave at the end of the 3rd quarter in what they knew could be their last game. Leave a team that gave them four years of playoff runs.

I've never seen Charles Barkley show such open disdain for a fanbase and call them fake fans.

I've never seen fans leave a game and then try to rush back in when they realize how big of a mistake they made.

Those are all exclusive to Miami, among other things. There's always gonna be actual die hard fans but these 4 years have been indefensible and downright shameful displays. The fact that no one on the team called out this bullshit shows that they either don't care about fans and are just there to win rings or they didn't have the guts to do it.

Not to add fire to the mix but, i've never seen a team have to make up and pass out cheat sheets on how to actually be a fan either lol.

Harden top 5 in scoring. He has to have the title.

I really am shocked at how well I'm taking this. Lebatard was right- even the losing is "fun" in the sense that I haven't been this invested about any sports team like this in my whole life. It's all fascinating and frustrating and interesting- and so fla hasn't ever had anything quite like this since the 70s.

Love this team. So grateful for the last 4 years.

Same, it has been the most amazing 4 years of sports for me. I was too young for most of the UM stuff and that is just college anyway. Having a team that is so great for multiple years is so great.

I love this team, I love these players. Can't wait to see what we do next.

James Harden is really really bad at defense it is such a liability it is hard to consider him as the best two guard.

Klay Thompson is good but, he can kind of disappear sometimes. Even as bad as D-wades knees are he is still better then Klay Thompson and James Harden.

Russell Westbrook is the best 2guard in the NBA.

This I can agree with they should just move Westbrook permanently to the two and find a decent point guard.

Five straight finals is about more than just being better than the other guys on paper. There's a mental and physical fatigue that must be accounted for. Guys start breaking down and the hungrier fresher teams make up for any talent deficit.

Congrats to Spurs fans, I enjoyed the destruction and the basketball on display.

Too bad my Bulls will never play like that, Thibs is too defensive minded and offensively leaves a lot to be desired as a coach IMO. Still this off-season is gonna be interesting, hopefully we can add a legit superstar to help Rose (if he ever plays basketball again).

nah only pacers are good in the east.if rose can come back healthy then that will be good.

Lance Stephenson is a free agent. Free agency is gonna determine so much. Everyone in the east that was a playoff team except for the hawks has an important player or players to their team that is a free agent. In fact the hawks should be better since Horford is coming back.

true. I'm disappointed that we lost but it's been one hell of a ride and I appreciate the time we've had with this team. Even my dad whose been following the Heat like since he came to this country was cool about it.

I haven't watched basketball for quite a long time, despite enjoying it a lot when I did. Man, what a great time to be back! Next year I'm planning on following the season as much as I can, no way I'll miss all this again.

Congrats Spurs, you are the best!

Do the Spurs win the championship without Diaw?
Without Mills?

It's crazy how all the team members from 1 to 9 made such huge contribution beside the Big 3.

I don't get HEAT fans, man. Drives me nuts seeing the arena half-empty damn-near every time I watch them. But what would I know? I'm just a small market peasant.

I read an article about Duncan's children and was curious why mom wasnt mentioned or there. Didnt know he had gotten divorced. Apparently she cheated with him and funneled his money to open a crossfit gym in san antonio with guy she cheated with.

I looked up the gym on facebook, found the owner, found her and messaged her "congratulations on your husbands nba championship."

That is a little too much don't you think?

I don't get it either. I grew up in Miami and this always frustrated me. Heat and Marlins games are like this. Dolphins always seem to be filled though. Maybe it's the Hispanic culture, basketball not being that big? Or maybe most of the people that go to the games during the playoffs just do it as a status thing since tickets are expensive as fuck? :/

All in all it's safe to say these finals were a bit underwhelming after the instant classic last year.
Yet it's hard to be disappointed as a basketball fan when such a deserving franchise wins it all in a way that illustrates how ball is meant to be played.

Chapeau Spurs, Pop, Duncan and Leonard.

And congratulations to whoever bet money on Kawhi Leonard as finals MVP. Those must have been some great odds.

Even though I hate the Spurs, I'm a bit glad for this win for one big reason, the fact that just getting a super team together is not enough. You can't skimp on your bench and hopefully GMs will start learning this.

Although the Big Three of the Heat were more of the Big 1.5.

So happy to see Manu bounce back after last's years playoff woes.

Also, what shitty questions they were asking Lebron last night. :lol What kind of answers were they expecting with questions like those?

It sounds crazy, but I'm not sure they do. Diaw starting was a big boost for SA and Mills shot the ball great and gave good energy on defense and in transition.

Or maybe may win it, just not as convincingly.

Well said. The fans don't care about the actual team etc they care about the wins LeBron was bringing. The moment those are gone the fans were out.

I couldn't believe fans were booing their team in the finals.

Shit I couldn't believe LeBron gave up in the 4th. You could see him walking and not coming back down on D or O some plays. He straight up gave up, like his fans.
