I've been cataloging all the trophies and so far found about 1/2 of them
I do need help identifying these though

The top left. I think this is from one of the Mother games

The 2D King guy. It's probably from a newer Nintendo IP because I don't recognize the art style

You can unlock them in other modes, but smash run is the easiest way to make sure you're picking up customisations, the ones you do get generally favour the character you're currently playing, though you will randomly get one for someone else now and then (you can also get duplicates which is incredibly annoying lol).

I don't go on GFAQs, I might make a smash boards thread about it though.

Also I just got the final Zelda custom, they're pretty tame.
Thank you for explaining. I look forward to the Zelda writeup!

The first picture has an Octorok from Skyward Sword, a Nintendog, and Prince from the Frog Bell game.

Anyway, if these trophies actually are deconfirms (like for DLC too), then it looks like we aren't really getting any DLC characters, or at least not the ones we thought we would.

Looking at some of the early footage of Duck Hunt (Dog), does anyone else feel like the initial base for his model was Ivysaur?

I sometimes feel like he jumps and moves like Ivysaur. Even one or two of his standard attacks seem reminiscent of Ivysaur's. Of course, it could just be that they are both quadrupeds and that's the only thing that is making me think this :p

Holy hell I just woke up to this. Is there footage?!
The impression I'm getting is they're still functionally the same moves he usually has, just reanimated to integrate his sword with different stats/properties. Still, I'd have taken them as deafults over being stuck with Falcondorf in public online matches again.

Is Jigglypuff's wall of pain (Bair > Bair > Bair > Bair all the way to the blastzone) possible in this game? I'd assume with even less DIability + stale moves + actual hitstun it would actually be possible even on some of the bigger characters like Bowser.

Oh, also, speaking of Jiggs has anyone gotten the rest of her custom moves? All I've heard is about Sing's (reflect and the damaging one). Anything for Rollout, Pound, and Rest yet?

Just from the demo, I think I actually like how Mega Man plays a lot. It's very reactive - wait for the right opening then use the move that they're most weak to at the time. I don't know if he's got any decent combos, but it's a lot like playing an actual Mega Man in that sense.

Ok, I finished getting all of Jigglypuff's custom moves, so here they are.
I wrote up all their names and what they all do and also screenshot I took with my phone in this imgur collection:

I have a friend that likes Jigglypuff so I figured I'd get all of hers first. This really kinda takes a while. Really the fastest way is to go on a high difficulty setting in Classic mode and try to get a x3 or more for the custom move items. So while it's spinning you need to time it to land on the red wrenches. Then you need to not lose or you'll end up losing your rewards in the order in which you got them.

Are you working on doing this for every character? If so once you have them all you should PM Heath and have him add the links to the OT

For the king try a reverse google image search? That is the only idea I have. Your image is too small to give anything useful though.

Although others have probably done it, I've been cataloguing things for the site and was just finishing Kirby hats

Little mac Kirby is Angry Kirby? I take it female Robin or male Wii Fit are the same hats?

Holy whoaomg the lvl9 CPU's in this game are hard.

I handled Melee & Brawl's lvl9's with ease. Level 9 Mario just whooped my Megaman like 8 times in a row.

I find the lvl 9 CPUs disappointingly easy, considering that's as hard as the AI will get. I can beat the CPU every time either 1v1 or 4-man brawl at all lvl 9s. Granted I can't do that with Mega Man, but that's a problem with Mega Man rather than me. Pikachu handles them with ease.

I've done it with a combo of Fairs and Nairs so I bet it's possible with Bairs too

Amiibos go harder if you train them apparently...

In Melee I recall finding level 9s were easy to punish as they were very aggressive.

Even though this game controls well on the 3DS, I really can't wait for that GC controller. Overall it's good, but sometimes the controls are frustrating me.

I am DYING over here with the combination of it being a bit harder to do tilts on the circle pad and the tap jump being on. I can never reliably get Mega Man's up tilt, which seems to be a pretty important move for him.

I just realized it was a similar art style to Freakyforms and image searched that game. Surprisingly, found him quick. He's apparently King Roy

Edit: Counting all the trophies I've seen, the count is currently 348.

It is his best KO move, and yeah, it is hard to do those tilts.

Also, 're: Leaf Shield. There was a demo tip that said Leaf Shield can be used to combo out of throws for Megaman if it is up when you grab the AI. I haven't figured it out yet, though.

I know no one would be able to post it but now that the game is released in Japan wouldn't that mean that strategy guides are also out? Would seem like a faster way to find out all the info than waiting for people to unlock it all (like custom moves, trophies, gear, etc)

Thankies. The last Rest sounds really interesting, I hope it's more usable than it sounds. The last rollout sounds like it would work really well for Hungrybox LOL. And the third pound sounds interesting, it's more of a trade-off for more distance on it vs less and having the good single hit.

Yea I like the third rollout. I usually start my rollout when I'm knocked into the top corners and use it as a recovery offensive move so the start up time is fine, more damage is nice.

Man, people really have a hard time adapting to new controls. I played the demo for like 3 hours and the controls are fine. I wonder if people would just skip Smash 4 if it was a 3DS-only game.

Not really, they would take the time to learn the controls. People want every Smash game to have Melee controls, so they keep adding GameCube controller support.
