I'm addicted to Smash Run now, wasn't very impressed by early footage of it even though it is basically City Trial.

Finished unlocking the moveset variants for Ness now. :D

Kind of neat (and disheartening) that Ness does say PK Freeze for the 3rd variant. It was already confirmed but neat that it has a voice clip too.

The issue with 2 stocks is if something crazy happens and you SD, you have to play defensive and can't take any risks because you're on your final stock 50% of the time.

3 stock is much, much better.

With Pictochat 2 having two layers for the doodles (grey and black) is it possible it was originally going to be a Swapnote stage (which did support two layered doodles)

Swapnote would've made a lot more sense. Is there any reason they would've decided against Swapnote?

Because of the controversies that caused the service to be shutdown. Not to undermine the crime that was committed (because it was pretty horrific), it's sad when one or two individual's actions have to ruin it for everyone. We already suffered losing the use of the app, it would be sad to find out we also lost a tribute to the app. I mean, can we not just remember the good times?

Of course, this is all assumption that it was originally a Swapnote stage. Though the use of old music for a new stage could also point towards this.

Are Final Smash trophies no longer a thing? I see that the All-star trophies are back to the Melee style. I really hope FS trophies are still in...

Part of me wonders if that's also why there's a spot for one more stage specifically on the stage select. If this scenario played out like you're saying I wouldn't be surprised if Pictochat was going to be a returning stage and they axed it to harvest its assets for reskinning the former Swapnote stage.

Quick Question: Is there an Hades trophy? I haven't seen any mention of him being in the game in a way or another.

This guy deserved to be a stage boss at least...

If you watch Zero play and even the Crashtournaments stream yesterday you'll see it's not as bad as the tournament 2 days ago tried to make out.

It's just some characters are better at killing from on stage than others. The other characters have to chase.

I did a quick google. Does this help, or did you want to know more than that?

I know streetpasses are required for some of the challenge board pieces.

I imagine for importers it is going to hard to get any for a while (outside of homepass) so impressions might be thin there.

Yeah, but not being able to KO Villager at 130% with Pikachu's forward Smash on Battlefield is kinda crazy.

Ok, though I know some places have done videos, I've been, for my site, screencapping all alternate colours/costumes. And here they are. I realise that some aren't so great, but I tried getting as stationary as possible without going into VS mode over 400 times. Yikes.

Going to take a break from getting custom moves (I've played nothing but Smash Run for atleast 18 hours now), I need to do some 1v1s.

Also I have all of Bowser's moves and all but 2 of Olimar's moves, I'll write up their posts after.

Anyone want to play?

The whole point of the bat is to OHKO opponents. You won't hit human players with it very often, though. It's still one of the best items because it's really fast when thrown and has huge knockout potential.
