I hate when I've got my opponent at 150 and I can't even send 'em flying with a fully charged forward smash.

I'm having so much issue with little mac and this Circle Pad.
I just can't bust out Side Smashes as fluently as I would like so I end up racking so much damage but can never easily get the knock outs going.

I play Sonic time to time and I noticed that his homing shot kills now LOL

Probably not reliable though. I don't think Sonic's problem is in his lack of KO moves but rather that stale moves really hurt him. (Which goes back to him having trouble KOing anyway so eh)

The no short hop double Fair is the one of the game's biggest crimes.

My temporary copy arrived. I still can't get over how good the 3D is in this game, almost every game I've played suffers from ghosting but I can't notice any in this.

Some stages are stupidly hard to see what's going on though, reviews are right about that. This is gonna look amazing on the big screen at least.

And I'm not finding anything. Does he has anything going for him in this version? He feels really, really sluggish. And it's not even Ganondorf-sluggish, where he has an absurd amount of power to compensate. He's sluggish and barely hits harder than Fox (if at all).

What am I not seeing?

They did to him what they did with Marth and took away everything that made him good... Might I suggest playing Puff?

Marth players are reminding me of UMvC3 Wolverine players when the game came out.

How is everyone feeling about custom moves? I feel like some custom moves make certain matchups really hard to manage. Some custom moves are so good for zoning that it completely changes what you need to do to win. I don't think Bowser could handle some of this stuff without the horizontal Fortress custom. I'm actually leaning toward preferring the game without them, exception given to Palutena and Miis.

No one should be hesitant to join. The host can decline their entry. Beats said "no" to me a few times. :-(

Too bad, Bandwagon will happens eventually. I already have a lot of them for Little Mac and Duck Hunt.

It's hilarious how people said that Little Mac would be boring character which would be full of punches and can't really see Duck Hunt Dog being playable character. Now a lot of people are picking them up.

It made me smile! :)

Custom Moves are the worst due to their requirements.
Just not worth the effort at all to get them all. Especially if your friends could care less about them.

I'm almost finished All-Star mode with every character! I just have the clones, SHulk,. the thrid parties, and the Miis left to do. I'm also getting really close to the 600 trophy mark. I'm up to 540!

At this rate, I should clear the third challenge board by the end of the weekend! It'll be nice to be able to focus 100% on multiplayer.

Little Mac is what got me the most. When people were saying all he can do is punch, which means he can't be a playable character, it just made me want to see him as a playable character and I got no history with the Punch-Out! series at all. So glad it happened.

Him only doing punches is what makes him unique.

And DHD is looking great. Very interesting moves.

Some customs are pretty good, but I don't think there are any that are so strong that they shouldn't be allowed at all. No custom moves would mean that I would have no character and playstyle that I really enjoy playing lol.

I only reject requests if I'm already playing with someone : p.

Nope, the 3DS challenges were meant to be easy. Sakurai has confirmed that the Wii U version will have more challenges, and that they'd be more challenging.

Jab, dash attack, and back air are his best tools. His running speed may be a little slow, but he is really good at close combat. I use jab, dash attack, and grabs to constantly keep on top my opponent. Back air and neutral air are pretty good for spacing and approaching in certain situations, while forward air is amazing at edgeguarding. His smash attacks are good, but I do have trouble killing a lot of the time as well. He isn't as easy to get used to as other characters, but he's definitely a solid character based off my experience using him exclusively in For Glory.

If you're up for it, we can play some Falco mirrors so you can practice and maybe pick up on some of the things I normally do.

This is why I usually change my status in-game and in friend's list to include my username.

Haha, I don't think it's that bad. There's a lot going on under the hood between system mechanics and character changes to make even the most adaptive types be wary of Marth-4. I think he's still going to be great, especially when people start doing more of the new ground stuff regularly. His buttons only have a light range nerf (and a extremely frustrating "not tipper" tip trail on his swings), they still function the same way they did in Brawl beyond that.

The air stuff is the strangest thing about him now.

I don't know why you are quoting me about making that claim because I don't really care if people are going to main whatever characters they want.

I'm saying that people need to learn that people are going to jump into their characters because they are way better in new games. Along with the fact that I'm happy that Duck Hunt and Little Mac are getting the attentions right now.

It's really annoying when I'm finally getting the handle on fighting DK online and then the game decides that no, I only have one jump, not two! Why would I ever have two jumps? That doesn't make any sense!
