Anyone who tried standby and its working for him or should we avoid standby for now?

I've put my PS4 in rest mode 5 times this morning and it loads right up.

The different colors for the default Flow theme are fancier than you'd think. It's not just the background color which changes. The flow ribbon glows when you choose Gold, with light gray the ribbon is darker, etc.

Downloaded the themes with my JP account. Rectangle is my favorite. I set that for my YS account.

What's this about region locking? No issues for me.

Tell me about it. I bought a ton of Mythbusters and other stuff over the years on the PS3. It's nice to have access to that stuff, even if it's all streaming now rather than downloads.

It's pretty terrible and no you can't. Only three filters, too. Alphabetical, install date (doesn't display what the date actually was), and last played. That's your lot, deal with it.

Wow, this update is a lot better than I thought. Seems to be filled with a lot of little touches/requests people had. Still missing some of the heavy hitters (DLNA, Friend Notifications, Friend List Organization), but still a lot better than I initially thought from just the PS Blog previews.

But if you've got the camera or a mic plugged into your controller, you can just say PlayStation <game name> and it will take you right to it in the library if it's not already on your menu bar.

The fact that you can use Share Play to spectate in party without the need of Streaming on Twitch makes this so awesome when planning in games.

The only way I know how is you have to do this via youtube not any app. The uploaded video has to process before it even gets to 720p it starts out a 360p and overtime it matures to 720p.

Themes from different regions work on any account even if that account isn't set as primary on that PS4.

I don't know why there isn't a full log for these small but very useful changes. Stuff like having the stream stay on while browsing channels is definitely worth mentioning, and it would save us the trouble of having to find out ourselves. Although I suppose that's part of the fun.

Whoa after you view a stream then back out to look for another stream, the stream you were viewing still plays and it gets put in the bottom right corner. Awesome!

i missed it when it first showed it but how do I increase the amount of games that display without having to go into the library?


EDIT: It showed it when again when I logged into another user, I thought you could increase it from 15 but it's 15 or everything.

Well that's how uploading works on YouTube. So that's standard procedure.

I can't access store on my US/UK accounts. Friends list and other PSN functions work fine though. Managed to download the YouTube app through the online store and then sending the download to PS4.

I think he means he can't buy them on his other accounts, just whatever region's store they are published on. If they aren't free, it's not as simple as making an account for that region.
