if bayo 2 is on the game of the year list, why isn't platinum on the best developer one?
I think they were considered, but put Nintendo overall, as they helped funding the project.

The first person perspective is a cool addition, and it does feel like a new way to play it, but it's not holistically integrated, it feels like an afterthought despite the substantial animation work. There are missions where it's just not at all practical, and there are times where the game just automatically kicks you out of it. It's cool, but I don't think it's comparable to colossally improving the base game as TLoU did.
He has probably no chance if either Totalbiscuit or Pewpewpie sends their fanbase to the site. If it happens, I think Pewpewpie will win and make the others look pathetic. If they'll do that of course.
Lol, we have a remake category. Gotta give TLOU some more awards, right?
is it wrong that i want them to win so i can see peoples reactions to itWell, at least we can be sure Ubisoft Montreal won't be Developer of the Year even if its nominated.
It surprises me to see Heartstone being one of the GOTY-contenders. Is it really that good? I've always wanted to try it but kinda forgot.
If Ubisoft wins developer of the year, I'll rip my head off and throw it down an elevator shaft.
Jeff HAS to win the "Trending Gamer" award.
Formatting aside, you're doing a really great job so far, Geoff. Lots of honest/great nominations and interesting categories. Also the presentation of the whole thing has been top notch.Yeah I agree, it's how the tool we are using for social voting works. I think we can turn on the percentages to show how much of the vote each game has, that might help clarify.
I would REALLY like to see this happen for next year. Basically just have a 'prettiest game' category. But I could easily seeing that get messy. It needs a category to award the art direction even more if it already has soundtrack and narrative.

Go Mordor GO!!!
How the hell are they even nominated?
"When the time comes, I'll pull the trigger"
I'm honestly surprised that Hearthstone is getting a goty nomination. I'll root for it, but judging by the acclaim and praise I can definitely see Bayonetta 2 taking it.
This is gonna sound a bit stupid, but honestly what kind of people DO like Pewdiepie? I had never even heard of him until I seen a lot of people here bitching about him, after watching him play 5 minutes of Alien it wasn't hard to see why.

Yes, it is. GTA5 runs like twenty percent better, TLoU runs like a hundred and twenty percent better. The IQ jump is larger too. TLoU is so much better that it makes me regret playing the original version. But is it "colossally improved"?
Seriously. Oh, well, it will be most anticipated when Kojima drops that release date to end the show!
Well this is uh... one way to present five options to choose from I guess:
The Game Awards is not affiliated with or produced by Viacom Media Networks or Spike TV.
Nominees aren't too bad, but I have a few nitpicks:
4) MGSV isn't a nominee for most anticipated.
Summer 2015.
Ubisoft developer of the year?
