I was kinda in the same funk post Unity so I just rolled right into Far Cry 4 and it clicked pretty hard.

I saw you mention 98% sync earlier, about how long did that take you? And what's the missing 2%? :p


I think I'm in sequence 9 or 10 myself, haven't had a lot of time to play unfortunately.

The app-related quests and a couple collectables that I just don't feel like finding. Oh and the bonus objectives for the race against the timer while collecting datapoint missions. Took me 58 hours which is the longest an AC game has taken me by far (I stop playing most at the 95% completion range).

And just when I got into Steamverse 6 months ago.
Usually buy only older, higher discounted stuff but this I can't count on my traders to have everything on stock for 30 days or even wait 30 days to get the game.

About the gifting ability still intact. One of my previous russian traders always sent me games as gifts, not per trade. At some point he told me valve shut his account for a week because "he was gifting too much". So yeah, that gift ability seems to have some restrictions based on region?!

See here's the thing right, while webm is a great container and sizes are stupidly small it's still a video format and not that embeddable. Plus it's reliant on the user agent being able to handle it. Of course there's always webp files which no one really has caught on to yet...

But I get you. Natively embedded and supported fileteypes like gif won't disappear easy and don't have to fear webm. It's just that for video game footage webm does give the best quality at relative low bandwidth. And you know how gamers get their rage on about IQ and whatnot ;)

58 hours, wow. That's longer than I expected for sure.

I think I'm going to put on a podcast or something and just collect everything at some point now that I have the third lockpick level.

Agreed. I lost all desire to play any games for quite some time a couple of years ago, then I started Sleeping Dogs and 40 hours later my joy for gaming had returned!
