LOL @ reading people threatening to switch over to Origin or even full fledged piracy because they feel cheated by Valve changing its trading policy.

Of course no one even realizes that Valve is simply limiting a workaround to exploit regional pricing, which was a way we always used to cheat Valve in the first place.
let alone the fact that regional pricing is or is not wrong, that's not the point here

That's true, but I don't think this was a good move on Valve's part.
I've been buying a lot of games the past two years because crossregion trading made a difference from the inflated prices we usually get here. The ACRTAG thing didn't affect me so much because I'm on the same region as Brazil and Mexico, so I'd still get a discount. This new trading restriction basically forces me to wait a month before getting anything or just pay full US price on a few games I really want at the moment and wait months until others go on sale (or wait for bundles)
I get that I don't live in an important region, but Valve didn't act like this in the past.

When Origin does something better than Steam you know things aren't going so well.

Well, considering company's make use of globalisation every single day, I don't think it's an entitlement problem. Region locking is a shitty practice. Limiting trading and lying about why is also a shitty practice.

That said, there's not much you can do about if. Every company does it to a certain extent.

I agree completely.

I'm in the same situation. This is the first time that Valve make a decision about something and I don't agree.

Very bad move Valve :(

What a load of shit; so how much do we miss out on without paying for this?

Also, I take it this was the eponymous 4th DLC people speculated about then, yes?

Content should be available to the current version on PC but the visual upgrades (what ever they turn out to be), online and gameplay tweaking in only on the newer version. That and it not be compatible with the other version for online so it will split the playerbase up for that portion of the game. I get the fence I'm sitting on it going to get rather crowded.

Bought Darks Souls at release on Steam and then five times to gift away, got Dark Souls II at release.

Now I feel no motivation to buy any other DS game at release or gift them away if this is how they're going to threat customers.

I hope this "remaster" sells like shit on Steam.

The Top Banner of the Humble Store.

Talk about jumping the gun...

Also, I guess we know which games aren't in the bundle =p
What the hell does that leave, tho?
Sanic?

So based on the visual hints Alien: isolation, Rome Total war and Company of heroes 2 should be there, right?
Alien Isolation is to buy, so definitely not. Same with COH2 and Rome.
CoH 1 is an option, though. Maybe Shogun 1.

100 keys will be added to the AMD Group Giveaway for Never Settle Space Edition Silver Keys on Tuesday, November 25th at 7 PM GMT.

Good luck.

What AMD Group?

So based on the visual hints Alien: isolation, Rome Total war and Company of heroes 2 should be there, right?

I assume that both Alien: Isolation and Rome: Total War will have DLC in the bundle.

I think CoH will be there, but just the base game and not the latest releases or DLC>

Well I guess Alien is in the bundle then. Really get the feeling that game bombed now, there's been too many deals on it so quickly :(

What a crock of shit.

I just saw that Shroud of the Avatar is in early access. No thread on GAF, I didn't see anyone talking about it... how did it turn out?

The DSII remaster is a bit of a joke, considering it should have launched on PC with those graphical upgrades. Better be a mammoth discount for previous owners.
