To be fair, doing that this time would have risked missing out on Elphelt - there was no indication until three days after JP preorders ended that she'd be free for HK buyers.

in jpn store she isnt. you had to pre order the game. but it's a different story for NA because the window to get her for free will be until like the end of december

i don't think there's any dizzy in game pictures out yet, but there are 2 i've found of johnny, with in game models and all

Shouldn't be a problem, you should still be able to download Elphelt through the NA store even if you don't have the game.

OT should be up tonight, probably around 8PM - 9PM CST or so due to my schedule with work and errands. It looks like people want to stick with a subtitle that references the cross play too! If I missed anything, I will be around to edit it as well.

The learning curve to any fighting game is steep. And the learning curve of a Guilty Gear game is steeper than most other fighting games. I haven't played Xrd yet, but I would assume the game will take quite a bit of time to learn. If you are asking about missing out on story lines from earlier games, I wouldn't worry about it. It's all pretty nonsensical anyway.

I wouldn't say GG is too hard, especially with the training mode. It fully teaches you all the combos and mechanics and how, why and when you should use them.

I would say with the training mode this would be a good game to get into fighters with.

I'm being taught GG right now and everything hurts. It's cool that everyone's so different but learning about character weight specifics and... Zappa's sword give me fear.

Yep, SRK posts and screens on dustloop show menus entirely in English.

I get off work in an hour and am heading straight home. I'll be streaming some when I get home. Just going to be in training mode with Chipp, probably, but if there's anything anybody wants me to try, I'll be more than happy to.

play-asia works fine.

If you download the hong kong version (which will be cheaper) it will come with elphelt if you're willing to wait a few more hours.. The ship's sailed on you getting JP elphelt for free :<

Honestly shocked Arksys hasn't said fuck it and released on US PSN early too

Okay lemme get this straight.

1. Register Honk Kong PSN
2. Buy Honk kong PSN cards
3. Purchase game on HK account. Set account to primary.
4. Play HK game on US account and hopefully should have japanese/english dubs and english sub?

that should be all true right?
