My Toys R Us had plenty of Lucario preorder cards left, so I re-preordered after receiving the cancellation notice this morning.
Same friggin morning my gf gets an email that my Pit from Target, which she preordered for me back in NOVEMBER was cancelled! Seriously! Now, I need to find Pit somehow. This is putting me in a state of despair. Talked to the guys at Toys R Us and Gamestop and apparently a winter storm north of us has delayed the shipment of Falcon and Pit, but they had Luigi and some person bought like 30 of them at once.
Any advice on where to find Pit?

this is what I've been thinking. Ever since TRU threw out my Pit preorder, it's my only unsecured amiibo through wave 3 (assuming more preorders aren't tossed).

a few people have seen PIT at FYE stores. I went today and nothing.

Spent almost 3 hours trying to find Capt. Falcon and had no luck so I decided to pre-order Shulk and Mega Man at Gamestop. I had Mega Man pre-ordered at Amazon but Theirs no final date on when it would be delivered to me and I honestly don't trust it but Amazon is shipping my Little Mac. I think I'm done searching for Falcon.

Heads up to any gaffers north of Sacramento California, target in roseville has Luigi, cap falcon, yuba city target also has Luigi and diddy. Im headed to Chico target there Is holding a mac for me. Good luck if your in the area.

so when is Lucario actually coming out? my pre order card says 2/1/15 but ebay toys r us doesn't mention pre order and says he will ship within a few days. LOL
whoever put the amiibos on ebay for TRU didn't bother putting any release date info in. I wouldn't count on them actually shipping lucario this month like the auction says.

To help out here: The Davis Target SAYS they have Falcon but nobody seems to be able to find them.

My Diddy from goHastings and my Little Mac from GameStop came today. Diddy shipped in a bubble mailer and had a huge rip in it but the figure/box itself is unscathed. Little Mac was overly protected though.
I called my local target about Cap. and Pit but the girl said they haven't even opened the boxes yet, so I'm gonna check back in later.

It's legit. I got my Little Mac from them. Warning, though, they package the amiibos in a bubble mailer. It was a little warped, but I was going to open it anyway.

Well I managed to get one of the lucario from ebay, he's still up if anybody wants it. Although I'm not so sure about it because of the shipping date and all that. Still, worst case scenario I'll trade one that I have for him. Best case scenario I can snag a pre-order card when I try to buy the new skyguys whenever those are out.

Double checked and Target in 93405 and 93454 (Central California) both claim to have Captain Falcon, Little Mac, Luigi, Zelda, and Diddy Kong, no one in the state has Pit though...

My TRU Lucario preorder was cancelled this morning as well, so I went to toys r us after work and managed the nab 3 Lucario preorder cards. Assuming I can get all 3, I'd be more than willing to trade or sell to anyone for retail price. Definitely want to help anyone out that I can.
I also work at Best Buy, as more info comes to me about Meta Knight I will try and keep everyone informed. I just applied for gaming supervisor so hopefully that'll be my department soon, in mobile currently.

Got the last Captain Falcon at the North Omaha Target!
Right before I left work, I checked Target's website and it said they were in stock. It is about three blocks from my work, so I raced there. When I got there, I didn't see any Falcons. I started checking my phone to make sure I had looked at the right location and a clerk reached behind a stack of Peaches and grabbed a Falcon. She was on the phone and said, "yup, we got one left". I stood there with my mouth agape. How could I have missed him!!??
She turned around and asked, "were you looking for this too?". I said, "yes". She handed me the Falcon and said, "well, you're here, so..." and proceeded to tell the person on the phone to check a different store. I thanked her profusely and then heard her say to a co-worker, "I'm so sick of this Amiibo shit".
EDIT: If anyone else is looking in Omaha, it says the Papillion Target and 125th/K Target have them. Also 72nd/Dodge, but says "limited availability" (this is the one that the lady told the person on the phone to call).

that sounds like me and skylanders. the skylanders aisle in my store always looks like shit because of kids just throwing them wherever.
that's cool that the clerk gave it to you because you were there.
I used a USPS priority box that was almost the exact size of the amiibo package and threw some bubble wrap to prevent it from bouncing.

I just bought Captain Falcon at the Houston Central Target. They only received 4. I noticed online that they were in stock so I came straight here and got one before they put them out.
You have to strike like a damn ninja when playing the game of Amiibo.
