Maybe the rumour is true and Canada isn't getting them until next week or after Christmas. So lame.

We got Wave 2A early and now 2B is nowhere to be found

EDIT: If anyone else is looking in Omaha, it says the Papillion Target and 125th/K Target have them. Also 72nd/Dodge, but says "limited availability" (this is the one that the lady told the person on the phone to call).

Just out of curiosity does anyone thing Luigi will end up being rare? I'm either going to return him and Fox or hold on to them since I got Lucario and Falcon online.

Same with my Little Mac, through their eBay storefront. I posted about this earlier, but I asked them if they could offer any compensation and they gave me a full refund, no questions asked. Even let me keep Little Mac. You should write them with an order number.

I'm seeing quite a lot of Luigi's. Target and Gamestop have a bunch of him, almost as much if not more than Mario, so I don't think he'll be rare.

So how rare is Diddy? On a whim I had my cousin check the best buy he works at and he said there was a Diddy. I asked him to pick it up for me, but I haven't even bothered to check local stores for him. (I shoulda just got him when I found Little Mac :\)

Target stocked up. I stopped there on my way to work and saw nothing. Stopped back around just now. Pleasant surprise.

i know that second one isn't a buddhist thing but I can't remember whose quote it actually is and it applies here with scalpers and nintendo and people who had the good sense to buy marth and villager promptly.

Well after 4 targets, 2 TRU and burning like $60 in gas I decided to break down and buy a Falcon from TRU ebay. I should have just done that in the first place.........

You can't put a price on the hunt though. It just doesn't feel as good when you strike out.

UPDATE FROM NINTENDO...and it's just as useless as we expected.

I've been collecting these things since they first came out but with all these supply shortages, scalpers, and pre orders being cancelled, I don't know how much longer I (and many others I've read online in forums) can support these amiibo.
The last straw happened tonight when I received an email CANCELING ALL my wave 3 preorders from Toys R Us because of massive amiibo shortage. I didn't only lose these preorders, I lost the sale price I got on them at buy one, get one 40% off. I don't have the luxury of going to the stores whenever they decide to randomly stock new figures. And I sure as hell WILL NOT pay the scalper prices those idiots charge on ebay.

Questions to you:
1. I would like to know why shipments are being delayed, why are certain stores releasing figures early?
2. why are certain stores releasing figures early?
3. Why is the stock so limited here vs. what it seems in European countries?
4. Will you do ANYTHING about the scalper issue?

1. We're not aware of any delayed shipments.
2. We're not aware of any stores releasing amiibo early. If you have information about such a store, we would be very interested in as much information about this retailer as you are able to provide.
3. We have no information about product availability in countries outside of our region.
4. We have no way to stop people from purchasing products from retailers, nor any way to prevent them from reselling them at any price they wish.
