I'm thinking these things have an evil power surrounding them, and this is some meta game that Miyamoto has created. I *never* have issues with retail clerks, or any customer service people. Then the Target thing happened where I overheard the guy bragging that he stopped me from "scamming" the store when I brought the Zelda/Pit/Diddy up to the counter that they had set out but couldn't sell.

Now I have some guy, who is probably 7 years younger than I am, condescendingly calling me buddy and implying I'm a fool for calling to check for availability of an item.

Dude probably just pocketed them and is excited about the scarcity and all the dozens of dollars he'll make selling on ebay. #hustlin

Called around and found the last two Captain Falcons at the Target in Niles, Illinois. Very nice workers & easy process. Also managed to buy the last Zelda! <3

captain falcon showed in stock at several of the targets here in colorado springs, CO. I bolted to the nearest one as soon as I got off work.. there were none on the shelves, but I asked an employee and they went to the back and found them for me.

success! now to track down pit. no gamestop/target in the area have received any yet.

I did; around 1:30p or so. I decided to go back around 4p though, ready to "kick some ass!" When I got there I talked someone different and they punched the item number into their scanner and it said they were out on the floor. I told there weren't any, and in fact there wasn't even a peg labelled for him. A very quick trip to "the back" and I am now in proud possession of a Captain Falcon Amiibo. I guess it pays to be persistent. I've really lucked out so far; hopefully Pit won't be as much of a pain to aquire.

Just left target and gamestop here in Marietta Georgia on east west and I got a Luigi from target and a really good zelda from gamestop. Manager said they only received one little Mac and was gone in 10 minutes. He said that they are told when a shipment is sent and to expect it within two weeks. Weird. I also pre ordered toon link, megaman and Ike for now besides my shulks. I just hope my TRU captain falcon is sent and they keep my pit pre order too that was cancelled.

There was a picture I saw a little bit ago someone had made here for what to do for each of the characters. I think continuing to update the OP with images of the Waves would be cool.

I was gonna make an OP to use but there's a lot about the stuff in other countries I haven't really been paying attention to lol

not true. i asked a target assoc. that was stocking the games section if any of the boxes he had in his cart had amiibos. he opened them up in front of me and its how i scored a diddy and falcon. the falcon box only had 2, every other box he opened had 4.

I was at Target grabbing candy for a movie and they had a captain falcon. I have a preorder coming from Best Buy.

Grabbed it cause I know it's hard to get. Happy to sell to the first person to quote me who is willing to pay cost. $14 + 7/shipping = $21 PP gift.

Ive been going to every big store and game of my city (Valencia, Spain) and Little Mac is nowhere to be seen.

The majority of stores didnt get him (will the rest of wave 2 is well represented) and the ones that got them (Media Markt) sold them 2 days before street date.
You can't even preorder it anywhere here, so fat chance with that.
Seems Spain is getting Little Mac shortages. Pit's are also very few, but findable. Funnily Captian Falcon is the one with most amiibos of him you can find (and Luigi).

And it's the one I wanted most :(

Has anybody in another spanish city seen a Little Mac?

The target by my house in Aurora co is full of luigis. Like 15 of em. I almost bought one but said fuck it. Got diddy kong instead Meanwhile, best buy didn't get shit by my house.

Went to 2 TRU stores today (one in Blaine and the other in Maplewood) and a Best Buy.

Blaine store-No Luigi. Said they received "a couple" Little Macs and Captain Falcon earlier in the week. Never received a Pit. Had Lucario preorder slips available for 1 dollar.

Maplewood-Plenty of Luigi. Also said they received "a couple" Captain Falcons earlier in the week. Denied ever having received Pit or Little Mac. Also had Lucario preorder slips available.

Best Buy-Maplewood-Staff said they had 5 Luigis in the back, but couldn't sell them until 12-30. They even showed me the screen saying Luigi wasn't for sale yet. No word on Pit. They acknowledged Little Mac earlier in the week but no Captain Falcon shipment.

Best Buy has been so weird with their street dates...my best buy keeps telling me they can't break any of these street dates or they will be fined majorly by Nintendo...despite everyone else not having these bizarre street dates...weird...

What's the cheapest place to get Rosalina?

I have a preorder at Amazon UK. Target confirmed they will get these in Canada but there's only 2 Targets near my city that's reachable. I don't think I'm gonna fight the entire city just to get it. Gotta see if I can get a little cheaper than Amazon UK..lol

I ordered 2 rarer Amiibos from Amazon France and it came to $45 CAN with shipping. Not bad. That's the price of 3.

Despite having the full set of Wave 1 and 2, I just opened our first one (spare Captain Falcon). He looks incredible, and definitely looks heaps better out of the box!

I only had one in my hand for maybe 10 s in the store yet. What do you guys think how easy/hard would it be to manipulate it so that the amiibo is broken in half in a sealed & perfect condition packaging?

Sorry if I'm completly overreacting, I'm just imaging getting 1k $ for this on ebay.

Probably not even 5 :)

Unfortunately no, it's nothing. It's also not a defect. It's broken. If people could get money for broken amiibos they would just start throwing the packages around or smashing them.

Can he return it? Might be hard to get another one though. That really sucks. But then again who knows, put it on ebay, people pay for weird stuff all the time.

Also, I think its a good idea to get an amiibo trading/helping thread, no scalpers allowed, is that ok for you guys?

Would love a thread like that. Being in Canada we won't be seeing Wave 2B for awhile.

Yeah that would be great I really could use a Pit Amiibo without spending a ridiculous amount of money for one.

I grabbed the last Diddy from the Anderson, SC Target after work. They had already sold out of Falcon. Plenty Zeldas and Luigis left. I had already visited this Target before work today and at that time all they had was the wave one commons.

I don't care about Falcon or Mac so if I could get a Pit I'd be set for a while.
