I love Pokken!
Kind of says something about the quality of games released in March.

What limitations? Dealing with last gen was a positive, if anything, in terms of assets. Are people expecting this to be 1080p60 and have the IQ of the screenshot posted on consoles?

Cross gen dev was really killing potential in current gen. I was sitting in a far cry 4 animation session at gdc and they were explaining and talking about their limitations. Immediately brought up was the memory limitation of the ps3/360. They had to develop with that in mind and were saying that they are excited to work on the animations when ps3/360 dev is dropped for them.

Star Wars Battlefront won’t have Battlelog support

Whoa, this is fantastic news if true! It's a shame, Battlelog always sounded like a pretty cool concept. But what we got just didn't flow well so to speak. The idea of it or something similar not being connected to Battlefront in anyway sounds absolutely wonderful. I'm all for it!

Does it? Hard line is a good game

They do if you don't hype them to the moon.

This game is being hyped to a galaxy far, far away. It will not live up to most folks expectations, not even Sn4ke_911's expectations.

Well, it probably will for him as long as it simply says Star Wars, he'll buy it.

I wonder how many people said NEVER AGAIN after the catastrophe that was battlefield 4 are here right now pumped as hell

Didn't play BF4, but had my own share of issues with BF3.

The thing is, the concern is there. No one is pretending that DICE's last two games didn't have severe stability issues and were bug-infested.

But if that's all we are focusing on, then I'm not sure why even bother discussing the game at all if we can't look at anything else. Even though for some odd reason it's getting brought up here, it's the same with Ubisoft threads and Watch_Dogs, or Kojipro Konami and MGSIV for their respective misses.

But do you really think, even with all the money it'll bring in through marketing, that EA/DICE can afford to have a BF4 with a game like this? Look at how Disney handled LucasArts, and that was before getting the games out the gate.

EA can't afford to put out this product mired in such a situation. I highly doubt it'll be perfect, and I would expect it to still have quite a number of bugs of varying severity due to everything that's likely going on in this game. But I think that, Christmas traffic hiccups aside, the stability problems that plagued BF4 up until recently won't be present.

No. The captured in-engine footage won't be possible on a PC either. Just look at the animation and physics.

On a side note, im really getting tired of this "limits of Ps3/360". We already had Bloodborne and that game hardly improved the interconnectivity of Dark Souls. So much for surpassing the limits of the previous gen. Even if the hardware allows for it, it's still up to the developer on whether he pushed the graphics or the scope.

anyone who says bloodborne doesn't look good is clearly blind or just I don't know.

So if Battlefront doesn't out sell Black Ops 3 this year, it was a flop then?

Im no industry insider but I would guess that a game would be considered a success or a failure based on development costs and sales projections over some arbitrary number or how it sales in comparison to another game.

Overall playercount has already dropped below BF4.

So what. That doesnt mean its a flop. It sold and still selling really well. Also on top at the UK charts every week. And a healty community on the current gen consoles.

Some people just searching for something..

I didn't buy Hardline and I am sure as hell not going to pre-order this or buy on day 1. I am excited for this, but will definitely wait and see how it turns out.
