I expect we'll see a gameplay demo like we got with Uncharted 2 at E3.
I only expect a new trailer, and more gameplay at Gamescom or PSX.
The game is still far from releasing, and they'll probably have other things to market for the end of the year (uncharted collection).

Hmm yeah, I forgot about the possible Uncharted collection. If they do announce the collection, they'll probably show gameplay of that and a trailer for U4.

Any further news on that Batman HD Collection that was allegedly coming out? I think IGN Italy reported it?

Seems weird to release it after the next Batman comes out in June, i suppose they can do it but one would think you release that before to give a bone to the fans.

I think it's time we see ThatGameCompanys next project. But would it be at Sony, who they have a good relationship with, or Microsoft, who may want them so it looks like a coup (like destiny)

I want that collection so badly. I hope its legit.

Can you imagine the implosion on here if something big like Fallout 4 was timed exclusive pn PS4? Even as a PS4 owner, I'd be straight up angry...

Before the consoles launched all the rumors suggested that it was going to be timed exclusive to the Xbox One.

I would like if there were announcements for Resident Evil 7, Red Dead 2 or any new Rockstar game, more about The Division (release date) and Uncharted Collection. Along with just one new game that interests me, I would consider E3 a success.

GopherD stated Sony has " hats full of money " for the holidays in one thread and then " hookers and blow " for the " winter " in another thread ( switch those 2 maybe ).

Could that be a hint at a GTA: Vice City remake? All GTA's have hookers, but Vice City was a parody of Scarface mostly which was centered around cocaine.

Can't tell you how happy I would be if that ended up being true. Or, it could of been a joke lol.

If over the holidays I am able to turn on my PS4 and choose between Disgaea 5, No Mans Sky and Ratchet and Clank, that alone would make me happy. Anything else is icing. So this E3 will be quite interesting. It should be used to solidify the 2015 lineup and most of the release dates and then set the stage for 2016.

Before the consoles launched or were announced there wasn't a single game that wasn't exclusive to the Xbox One.

That's certainly true. I remember it was rumored that they landed FIFA as an exclusive.

We'll see what happens. The big exclusives that have happened so far make sense. Street Fighter because Ono had said they'd been having funding issues. And Tomb Raider because of marketing tie-ins against Uncharted (which doesn't matter now) and for additional funding. Bethesda doesn't need money or additional marketing from anyone after Skyrim.

Maybe one of the two GTA clones being announced ths year; Saints Row 4 or Mafia 3, or maybe a Scarface: The World is Yours remake.

I can't even imagine something so stupidly impossible. Bethesda would gain nothing from that.
Todd Howard would not do that
the most he has done was to let Xbox get DLC first
so I expect that again.. DLC a few weeks early
he does not care about install base

http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Todd_Howard

He also said that developers should ignore demographics and installed base, and follow their passions, saying "if install base really mattered, we'd all make board games, because there are a lot of tables."

Doesn't stop them from taking a huge chunk of every sold Skyrim mod on Steam :D

Wouldn't surprise me if Bethesda accepted an offer from MS.

They usually do partner up with MS, but that's for marketing and timed exclusive DLC.

That'd be kinda awkward, considering an Xbox one beta is already a preorder incentive.

The PS4 beta just gets you into it earlier than the Xbox One and PC. It's not an exclusive beta. Sony rarely has those.

This Year, E3 could has maybe their best appearances of all time

Possible Games, which are not so unlikely

Bethesda - Fallout 4, Next Dishonored, Doom
Ubisoft - The Division, R6 Siege, AC Victory
EA - Star Wars BF, Mirrors Edge, Mass Effect 4
Square Enix - Hitman, Tomb Raider, Just Cause 3, FF XV
Microsoft - New IP, Quantum Break, New Gears of War
Sony - Guerilla Games RPG, TLG, Uncharted 4

This E3 - It could be very big..

I'd say unlikelier things have happened, I mean it might not be a Bethesda game but I'm fully expecting at least one (timed) third party exclusive for MS this year again.

I doubt it as Phil said they are only focussing on Ips they own going towards the future. Then again who knows

The return of NFS as well. I think EA is going to make a lot of noise about it since they gave it an additional year of development. There'd been a new NFS every year since 2002. So it was a big deal when they decided to give Ghost an extra year of development.

I think he only said it to please the fans (like he always does), he is a master PR guy.

Maybe, but how does that plz any fan. Not like he said they are making new ips or anything like that he just said they are focussing on Ips they own. If anything I would see it as bad because you won't get games like SO anymore

It's only 140 characters. One can only say so much on Twitter.

He said they have new IP this year, and he said they're focusing in first party, he didn't specify only IPs they own.

IP they own doesn't discount new IPs.

It just means moving forward, they'll do less stuff like Ryse/Sunset Overdrive/Alan Wake/original Gears deal, where the devs own the IP, instead of the publisher.

And instead stuff like Ori, Quantum Break, where they own the IP, franchise, the complete package of what they're funding.

Well yeah that's a giving none of the big 3 will go a E3 without announcing a new Ip

This is what I'm getting at . MS been these since OG Xbox Publisher and fund but don't own, maybe Phil doesn't like to deals that way.

Still think Microsoft will pick up CD Projects Cyberpunk 2077 game whenever that gets re-revealed as a actual game.

Maybe that gets announced at E3 while the Witcher 3 hype is still fresh.

Well, with games becoming so expensive these days, and if you have limited investment opportunities to begin with, investing in properties with limited monetisation and long-term risk of being available on competitive platforms may not always be a good deal.

I mean, at the end of the day, it just means that they're not able to sign deals with developers known for their aggressive independence/desire to own IP, like Respawn, Bungie, Insomniac, Epic, etc.

But there's still a relatively large availability of devs out there who's willing to let publishers own the IP.

I posted this before, but I think this E3 is going to be the most interesting E3 for MS. I don't mean they are going to drop megatons or anything like that. I mean in a sense of type of games they greenlight.

no he did not say ONLY
there will be 3rd party games

promising fans a greater focus on first-party titles
but he also said
And to be clear we will have 3rd party deals

I don't think there's going to be much of a departure from the type of games they've greenlighted in the past, what Rare's doing might be interesting though (if it's more than Battletoads).

Where is Deus:Ex, why it's not on your list, did they say it wont be at E3?
And since when TLG is "not so unlikely" ?

I'm actually of the opposite opinion.

I think, based on the tepid reaction to their triple-CGi decker last year, the fact that one of them is undergoing development troubles (PD), and the fact that their primary competition added another conference on their slate (PSX), I feel that MS is going to be slightly more conservative this year, but in a good way.

My expectations : gameplay for every game announced prior, (Forza, Halo 5, TR, Crackdown, Scalebound), one new digital IP, one fall retail game announcement, one new AAA IP, one 'one last thing' moment, and other smaller announcements here and there.

I feel that they're going to be most focused on 2015/16, with maybe one teensy hint of 2017, but for only one game at best, unlike last year's "here's 3 games you have to wait 2 years for."
