Ugh, so many teammates snatching defeat from the jaws of victory in the same manner as Battlefield games...get control of map, and instead of holding the middle at a choke point, the team gets ocd and overextends to try and spawn camp, which inevitably leads to our team getting flanked and screwed in the final seconds.

Been watching this same phenomenon lose matches in various games for 20 years, and it's still as infuriating as the first time.
 
Man, fuck the kraken. Its so cheap, especially in ranked. Just spam it and everyone on the other team in the area is dead no matter what.

I think I'm going to give up on ranked. I've had people quit and do nothing halfway through a game. It's getting frustrating to keep losing by large margins as a result.

Testing an aerospray with and without damage perks... Three damage perks made it 24.9 per shot and none made it 24.5

Yeah, I heard the Attack/Defense (sub)boosts are a waste. I wonder if the others are any good either then? 0.3% better defense or 0.3% faster squidjumping wouldn't be a big deal to me :p

Either way, guess I better reroll my triple defense boots...

Damage Up doesn't let you splat in fewer hits but it does counter Defense Up. Without Damage Up, a single Defense Up (Main I think) turns a .52 Gal from a 2HKO into a 3HKO. Stuff like that.

So Defense Up is legit but Damage Up is best kept to sub abilities.
 
Listening to the Giant Bombcast and they're really positive about the game. Their biggest complaint is that you can't switch loadouts between spawns or matches. They mention voice chat, but they're really not into it.

And some people was saying in anaother thread : "it's not like in the other shooters games! It's for kids and it's not an FPS but TPS"

Yeah, right... said the same guys who just play like in Battle field or COD, lol

Sub abilities have less effect.

If there's kraken kids in the game always make sure to ink escape paths around you and watch the glow. Unless you're using a high damage weapon or ambushing from behind just don't engage glowing roller scrubs, they'll just press R3 ez when you go in head-on with shitty rapid-fire weapons, especially with high latency. If push comes to shove it's still doable to juke the kraken outside of narrow pathways, dodge two jumps and they'll either hastily look for another target or try hunting you down and end up wasting their special. Then just splat them once they turn back to normal.

That being said Jr. and Krak-On Roller are absolutely babby's first weapons.

Ah, alright, thanks for the clarification!

Now I just need a list of brands and what subabilities have a higher rate to appear with those so I can plan my ULTIMATE BATTLE GEAR!

People keep wanting loadouts but that's like another 15-30 seconds every game not playing!

Played a little more of ranked. Got in a match that the timer went over and still only got 185p, just nonsense. Guess I won't be going into that mode again until I max out my level and the gear I'm wearing. Totally baffled at that.

Here you go:

9+ games!? Damn, I think my max is 4. I usually do pretty decent myself, but due to the randomized nature of the game, I don't even see how that's possible since you're bound to get a bum team here and again. Or have people found a way to bypass the random aspect?
