It came out in March 2014, the GOTY edition/current-gen version came out this year.

Scholar of the First Sin did, which was an improved version of DS2. DS2 came out in 2014.

Can people stop suggesting this? First off the screens are clearly Dark Souls from the armor, the swords and the shields, secondly the screens came to them with a list of information which they read off in the video.

Me either, and since the hud looks exactly like Dark souls 1 (which could very likely be a placeholder) it makes me wonder maybe he really is directing again. Anyone that played Dark souls 2 would know the hud differences between the games.

Still going to wait until E3 before hyping myself up... But the screens look real enough. However a maybe on a PC release that would be like Bamco saying they hate money!
From what I've been told, they Namco USA frequently has to "negotiate" the PC ports with the Japanese office. Because they benefit more from them, Japan doesn't, etc.
That said, I've also heard that DS2 only really happened at all because of DS1's Steam sales. So I'd imagine that will happen here, just the financial arrangement between US/Japan needs to be worked out before they commit.

This leak came literally out of nowhere and I'm not sure I like it or want it, especially the "PC version is negotiable" part of it. I mean... Do we really need another Dark Souls? I spent over 400 hours in the first one and more than 150 in the second one and right now I have zero urge to experience the same rehashed game yet again.
Yeah that sounds like bullshit. Someone really stupid has to have gathered legit leak stuff and his own mad ramblings or something. Or this could be very early prototype stuff.
Do we know if Bloodborne was always what we got in Bloodborne? Is there any chance this could be concept stuff put together when maybe the plan was, instead, to make a Demon's Souls 2 for Sony? Or maybe early work on Dark Souls II that got scrapped?
