I miss Taito. They were doing some good DS and XBLA stuff for awhile but seem to have disappeared into the mobile oblivion this gen. And SE doesn't even bother bringing their games west on iOS/Android anymore either.Any chance of taito doing anything?

Edit: forgot they were stuck with casual crap, as always. I want SIE3 but squenix doesn't want that kind of game anymore
That reminds me that I should get to infinity gene at some pointsörine;167645842 said:I miss Taito. Don't you want to bro around with your bros and cook on licensed camping gear?Man TAITO Legends 1+2 HD would be awesome
Also, FFXII and DQVIII HD plz
I'd much rather have more remakes from S-E at this point. I've just about lost faith in them for making new games
That shitty Frog's theme foreshadows the mess a new Chrono game would be if Square Enix tried making a new one. Please stop asking for it.
Verendus had a post somewhere in the E3 predictions thread that gave me a lot of hope for Squeenix. I don't remember his exact words, but the gist was that they have a lot of ambitious projects in various stages of planning and production, and if they go well, opinions of Square would return to those seen in their glory days. Who knows if that is starting now, but I remain optimistic. We all have one company that we keep coming back to no matter how much they disappoint us, and Square is that company for me.
this video had the opposite effect on me, kinda...
I don't think I have lower expectations for any company's E3 announcements than SE's
when will people learn
I can see them remaking Chrono Trigger with horrific FF6 Mobile spritework.
I'm prepared for the worst.
Dat Frog's Theme tho...
You know, after a Twitter follower showed me they used the same music for last years E3, makes it easier to deal with lol. Maybe one year.... one year I'll see a new Chrono or Mother game. It freaking sucks that my TWO favorite franchises of all time, are basically dormant and won't get touched again (at least, that we know of). >_<
They used it for a promotional hype video like this one?
Where it's being used is important, I think.

I hope we see FF Explorers too. Mostly because I want that 3D FFI remake.
Hope you have fun being all depressing and whatnot
I'm super excited for E3, just not for SE's announcements. They do nothing but disappoint.
Just from Deus Ex, Heavnesward and Tomb Raider there is enough to be excited. They have been doing well in my eyes as of late.
Don't think they will let down with the rest
"We know you love Chrono Trigger! That's why we're pleased to announce a PC port of the game... which will just be a bad port of the mobile version with 15fps battles, text bleeding, unresponsive controls, and horrible menus!"
Oh wow. Nothing to see here I guess.
lol ok.
I have yet to see Verendus really nail an 'insider scoop'.
He had at least 6 or 7 scoops that he couldnt possibly have known unless he worked in the industry.
Did you see his last prediction tho? Holy shit. Xenosaga HD, new Suikoden, loads of other stuff.
Really having a hard time believing him/her this time.
Gotta throw in some obvious bullshit from time to time so people don't find out who you are

What were going to show off at E3 is unprecedented in the history of Square Enix, with a strong line-up in which each can be considered a centerpiece.
lol ok.

Squeenix Rep steps out on stage.
"We have heard the fans. They say they want to play Chrono Trigger on PS4."
Cue gasps from the audience.
"So now we have ported the PS1 version of Chrono Trigger to the PS4."
Rep grins.
If this ends up being a fantastic show for SE I'll still be sad because FFXV won't be there. I honestly don't understand, how big of a difference could two months make where you can't show the game at the biggest video game conference of the year?
Gamescom is pretty big these days, and Im hoping it's because they have a lot to show at E3

Well, it's still not as big as E3... plus, yeah they might have a lot to show at E3, but leaving out their biggest game?! I dunno. It just feels strange.
Sure.. It is the strongest push because it is their first E3 conference. But it may just be that their Eidos side has finally earned its own conference to promote its big games as central (or Just Cause 3) and the Square legacy is merely along for the ride.I've been watching this industry since the 90's. This is the strongest push I've ever seen for a Square or Enix conference. While one might believe it can only end in failure, I do believe they're pushing it for a reason. Should be a sight for sure.
