Nah, man. This would be too surreal to be true. Like, out of nowhere, suddenly there'll be FFVIIR in a few hours. If it was E3 '16/'17 I would have easily believed it. On the other hand, who knows, aaah. I'm super excited for tonight. Sony PC will be at 3AM over here, no regrets.

Whether this is true or not it's a shame that if it is true, it was leaked so close to the Sony E3 show.

Same with TLG and Shenmue 3. Why are Sony so bad at getting all this shit on lockdown.

i mean, even if everything in the article was true, it already has huge flashing ABANDON GAME red lights. realistic modern Dissidia cloud?

come on, square. come on. nobody realistically wants that shit except for the most ardent of fanboys. this game can only work in a stylized manner

Dissidia cloud looks great, especially in the new one coming out. So honestly, I feel you're wrong. The game will work absolutely fine in that art style.

FF7 to PS4 was supposed to be out in Spring. Its still not out yet. :/

I want to believe we got double trolled and they announce a full remake for PS4 later tonight.

IMO the battle system needs a revamp even more than the graphics. FF VII was ridiculously easy and borderline broken. And if you actually put some thought and strategy into your materia setup, your reward was an even easier game.

I mean, if they're "non-gamer people" anyway, it wouldn't matter much to Square-Enix if they got "shit on" from them.

Didnt bother to read the whole thread, but if FF7 for PS4 is based off the PC version, how hard would it be fir Square just to add higher quality models, animation, hd quality backgrounds,etc? Modders have been doing it for years. Thats how Id imagine Square doing an FF7 remake. It makesthemost sense to me.

I don't know what other FF games you guys have played, but 7 isn't even the easiest.

You don't play FF games for challenge, as they've never really been challenging.

FFVII is a masterpiece. You wouldn't go back in time and tell Michelangelo to enhance a certain part of David, would you? No, you would keep it they way it is, even if it's sub-mediocre. As it was intended. So yes, give me FF XV graphics, but hands of from that battle system, plz.

But what am I talking about, FFVII-R is not going to happen anyway...

I dont think I full revamp would be needed. Really just make it more like x-2 ans youre golden....of course it doesnt matter because this is not going to happen.
