Quantum Break Gameplay (Gamescom 2015)

The effects in this game are really something else. The time lapse scene and the way the environment ripples when time's being warped look incredible. All the combat effects well. A very busy game visually, but in all the right ways. Excited to see what they do with the story given the crazy storytelling methods they've shown off so far.

I'm finally interested in the game. It has some Fringe vibe, not only because of Lance Reddick.

Graphics look good and gameplay too.

Looks like a great game but the graphics seem really weak for a 2015 - 2016 title.

Eh..I'm a PC graphics whore, but the game looks pretty good to me. It kind of has that IBL look, and the special effects are hands down impressive.

My lord I take back every reservation I had about this game.
Looks unbelievable. I love that they changed the main character drastically too. Much better fit.

This was the most impressive showing at Gamescom by far for me. No surprise really to me as I'm a huge Remedy fan but the graphics, story, and everything just look so top notch.

Also a damn good cast as well, I'm actually excited for the TV show with it

This shot has actually got me legit hyped for the show now (^____^)

We're almost there...

Looks impressive. The time distortion effects are pretty nifty. I don't think the character or setting looks as interesting as Remedy's previous titles but given the quality of their games I'll certainly watch this one closely.

Same here, I was pretty meh on the game, but that demo was pretty nice, and I love me a good story.

The TV show also looks to have a great cast, really hoping it is something nice.

Indeed.

The scene where the main character was walking through that room and time was going crazy and it was just showing you glimpses of what happened and how the world got the way it was with him narrating over it sold me times infinity.

If there is one dev I trust to provide a compelling mystery and storytelling in their games Remedy is up there with the best in the business

We need a high quality gif of that ASAP.

This game just looks soooo good.

Graphics are absolutely breathtaking. Can't say the 3rd person shooter gameplay elements have me itching to play it, actually more interested in the TV show portion lol.

I'm not calling anyone out here specifically but it seems like a few people (media outlets included) still don't understand that the show comes with the game and that it was separate from the xbox tv initiative. its really frustrating

Goodness, this game looks so good. Graphics are great, the time effects are awesome, the combat looks fun and fluid, and the story is intriguing.

I totally agree! The constant effects changing the visuals of the game-space is amazing. Nothing you can OP either. I bet that AI is going to piss us off with 1 shot kills haha.

Those transitions though.. mmmmm so good Remedy! SO GOOD! I can't wait!

Then announce Alan Wake 2 :p thnx

Maybe those people just don't think the shooting looks particularly engaging unlike previous Remedy games. You know, because it doesn't. That /= forgetting who Remedy is or what they do.

What about the gunplay didn't look engaging?

It looked solid, tight, nicely paced, offered a number of options to stop it from becoming monotonous. It seemed a huge step up from their previous games gunplay.

Dare I say it looked better than the gunplay in the Max Payne games.

Here's an abbreviated history of Max Payne encompassing 1 2 and 3. I'll be shocked if we don't hear in detail how the development process changed.

Nice, I'll be sure to check this out when I have some time to burn.

Thanks for the link.
