I very rarely buy CE's for this reason. Often very cheap looking.

I prefer a night, tight package with good quality materials. One of the best from last gen was Bioshock 2 CE, I thought.

Yeah, that one was pretty great. Full-sized art book, vinyl record of the first game's soundtrack, CD of the sequel's soundtrack, a few art cards and a really nice package to house everything in. It blows my mind that more games don't do an full-sized art book/soundtrack combo.

I definitely stay away from CEs. Last one I got was MGRising with the Play-Arts Kai figure.

Sure, they can't make a decent face at all but at least Raiden comes with his robot visor. Doesn't really matter though since I haven't even taken him out of his box.

I've never bought a CE but can't you just respect that other people might collect things like this? It's a hobby. Or they may really love the franchise and are willing to spend a bit more.

I know I've thought about importing the Driveclub steelbook more than a few times.

It's been brought up a million times in the various CE threads but I really just don't care for any of these statues.

Depends. I got the FF Type 0 collector's edition because of the beautiful steelbook and artbook. Same for witcher 3. I guess everyone has that little something which pushes them to dish out extra on a collector's ed.
