Just expect SF0 to be delayed till the end of May or so. I suspect It'll be the swan song for Wii U exclusive games, with Pikmin 4 and Zelda U being cross-platform at the end of the year. Just my speculation there. There's a reason TPHD and Pokkén are coming out in March and not May despite being the biggest H1 games for Nintendo. SF0 is all-but guaranteed to not be a big seller so...it's not as important whether or not it gets that usually prime May spot. Because, I believe focus will be on NX.

Guys i was talking to a few friends of mine and one claimed that a Ubisoft developer from Bucharest last year said a handheld would come out in 2016 and a console in 2017. He apparently tweeted it and was very quick to remove it. He also said AC Liberations was in development for the handheld or something.

Did this happen at all?

I wish Nintendo would just come out already and give us the details on this thing. I understand waiting and all and trying to keep their cards close to their chest but there is already a lot of confusion floating around about the NX. What other system also had mass confusion surrounding it and its launch? Wii U.

They need to send a very clear picture of what NX is. Hopefully sooner rather than later. They may wait till E3 for the full reveal but they should at least do a concept showcase earlier than that, though that is what rumors have been saying they are gonna do.

I really don't think that's possible. My expectations are rock fucking bottom and I expect the NX to do Wii U numbers if it's just another first party Nintendo box.

There was indeed a leak suggesting Liberation for the NX.

This cannot be real... Nintendo isn't dumb enough to release another console that is underpowered compared to their competitors. If the NX comes out this holiday season and is weaker than the PS4... I mean I would buy it when Mario Kart comes out but Nintendo would be shooting themselves in the foot.

That 900p part smells of bullshit, who the hell puts that as any kind of marketing or advertising? Especially considering how the X1 has received a shit ton of flak for it.

I'll hold my right to complain once it is actually revealed and if the system and message stink then.

I mean, read this thread. We're getting "go third" party from a rumor thing...survey...whatever it is. GAF is getting a bit crazy.

Plus, adding to all of that, 900p/60fps are not even specs to begin with! This is one of the most bizarre threads I've seen on GAF and really shows that hiveminds can be dangerous.

We've had a known insider....at least for NPD, give his opinion on the matter, which has been generally ignored. And emily rogers too I believe.



I mean, don't complain about getting confused.....when you're creating the confusion yourselves.

Ps4 was in feb while the Xbone was in late may. People gotta realize that we shouldnt know about the nx at all right now, it was reveal to shown that Nintendo was still in the console game market back when they announce the mobile stuff.

I'm kind of surprised that people get so worked up over 900p. Yeah it's not as good as 1080p, but as compromises go it's not that bad.

If you want to play 4K content from Netflix, which they already have, you will need a console that is able to output a 4K signal...

What people forget even more, is that most games are not even outputting still a true 1080P output, it is all upscaled to 1080p. The list is pretty thin of native output of 1080p on current consoles:

So if it really is a native output of 900p for all games upscaled to 1080p, we won't see a big difference and grafx overall will look probably better than current consoles.

Its not just on GAF though, not with the way information works today. I'm already seeing stuff like "Nintendo going 3rd party?" Click bate articles popping on on Facebook.

The messaging behind whatever NX is vastly important. It's a big part of what killed the Wii U. And what I mean by "already" is they first told us about NX existing quite a while ago at this point. Its not the end of the world or anything but leaks / rumors are going to keep spreading at a decently alarming rate the closer we get to this thing. I'm just saying they need to do at least a proof of concept prior to E3

Pretty much my thoughts on this as well.

It's as if some people want the company to fail or something and will lap up every scrap of potential bad rumors and snowball with it.
