I posted those notes because QUACK was accusing me of just being absent from this thread and making "I'm catching up posts". If you thought I was saying "look how town I am", then you messed up hard.
Gonna go meta here, but I've done the whole disappear from the game cause I got distracted/bored, tried to catch up later. Asides from maybe my first two games, Cthulhu and Election, and even then, I did in my first ONUW game too

I think it looks like his priorities are wrong and not town aligned. He spent time making a script but didn't spend any time giving opinions on the actual game other than that he doesn't think we should lynch anyone. He hasn't said who he thinks is mafia. Just want to say that I won't be around for the end of the day most likely due to school, been busy today so apologies for not being as active. I'm considering leaving my vote on Retroid, not for the notes thing, but just because I still haven't gotten the post that I was hoping for.

1) I don't want to be in this situation (I sure as hell didn't choose to be in it)

I will bet exactly no one, not even retro. The bookmarklet only works if everyone types out a person's full screen name every time they refer to someone. Anyone who is actually playing the game would know most people refer to others by abbreviations or team abbreviations.

Fair enough. Of course we are individuals. I guess my point is that we are perceived as one entity, seeing as we share a role and are inextricably linked as partners inlife or death.

That's not what it does, it is only for the poster to show their partner, you can even set it up as a TamperMonkey/GreaseMonkey script to have it run automatically on the page.

Do you think it would be possible to make a bookmarklet that shows all of 1 person's posts in the thread? Without cutting them off like the search function does.
Possible but not easy because you would need to send a bunch of requests for each page or post, and then stitch them together. It would probably be easier not as a bookmarklet/in browser script.

The search function on this site leaves a lot to be desired for mafia purposes, I pretty much never re-read anything because going back and finding stuff is annoying. I think being able to filter 1 player's posts would be nice.
Anyway I'm going to unvote you and it would be really great if you could put some reads together and if you don't I'll probably vote you again.

I'm keeping my vote on you Retroid, you simply haven't given anything of substance, not a single unique opinion or anything to indicate you are following along. If you make it to Day 2, do you think it will be better for you or is this what you'd be like all.

I just don't get posts like this during a game. Yeah, it's Day 1, we all have no idea who anyone is or anything about the game, but we've done all these posts and I think there's some decent stuff in there for future discussion. Participation is the only way we're going to win.

I should have put "confirmed (?)" Obviously talking about the Miller/Tracker duo that Blarg and Kawl claim to be.
Reads from day one aren't useful from my experience, they can all be chalked down to "It was day one, it's hard to get reads on day one". Reads might be better then no reads, but it's hard to grasp at things when there is no hard evidence (see PR abilities) along with the soft tells.
But we can develop some hard evidence by having interactions on Day 1, that is the purpose of the day after all. You make it seem like all that is important is whatever the power roles can find and then if we believe them or not. Discussion is it's own power role, one we need to take advantage of.
Now I feel like saying we won't do that to see who lynches us because of it.
Could do both, say you won't, see who guns for you, then check them anyways?
