New trailer and Info on GT Sports coming in May 19

Not really no.

Here's a comparison between pCars, Assetto Corsa, Raceroom and GT6...

Sorry for the audio onslaught but sound and vehicle dynamic effects are really, really important to me and I just want GT to finally come good in that department...
Man, the audio in GT6 could be good if it wasn't flooded with wind clipping sounds. Surely their sound samples can't be that bad? Such a weird choice.

The Senna cars and the Vison cars did improve but still a lot of work to go.

Again I will say, many of the things about the audio tech is good, it is just the samples and mix. I hope they do a good job.

Tyre squeal doesn't bother me, in a racing game where you lack a lot of feedback from a real vehicle tyre squeal gives great feedback to let you know what the car is doing and what you are doing wrong.

Also the Z4 GT3 is the probably the worst example for sound in GT6 along with the SLS GT3 haha.

I was massively disappointed with the engine and tyre sounds that they'd been using since 1997. To hear they're using the same old hoovers- I'm fucking done. So many games even since 6 have shown how exciting races can be with dynamic, ferocious engine sounds. Where as you start a race in GT and it sounds like the Dyson Sunday Open. Fuck off Polyphonic.

Preemptive meltdown candidate? Nahhh

How about you wait for the stream and full impressions with video? Just a few more hours :)

Even with "real life"-like graphics I won't care about this game at all, if the sounds are still so awful. I hope for the best.

tbh it's almost like GT is trying to capture the idea that the out of car camera is a physical camera chasing the car and it obviously effected by wind.

whether that's a good choice is debatable. lol

Sorry if this was asked b4 but what are we getting exactly 2 hours 20 minutes from now? is there going to be a live stream of the conference or nothing but blogs and info?

It's refreshing that the first gameplay we will get is with people who actually know how to race and not with games journalists :)

better be getting rid of PS2 classic car models and focusing on a smaller roster of premium only

dont need 700+ cars when most look awful

its 2016, lets use that PS4 hardware

Forza 6 has 460 "premium" cars, come on sony, step it up, GT is really lacking beyond its younger rival.

How many premium cars has GT6?

447 as of december 2013.

Lacking......

I'm sure Polyphony will not disappoint on the car count. Audio is where the main concerns are and hopefully they aren't trying to aim for something outside of the PS4's sweet spot when it comes to technology. I don't want an eye murdering screen tearing racer just so they can try hit 60FPS

I am having a great time with Forza Apex (I Dont own XBO to play Forza 6 :( ) , I just hope that they make an amazing game this time, After beat UC4, GTS is the only reason to keep my PS4 around. Please Polyphony dont fail me.

No Mans Sky? Or going PC route? I'd also argue Horizon as another reason, but that's just my hype for the game.

2013. That's on the Ps3. 2016/17 premium will have to look much better, and yes, I agree, sound better.

Pretty certain that the premiums were future proofed, although possibly need to be remodeled regarding materials etc. When you consider that photo travel allowed you to blow up images to crazy resolutions and had adaptive tessellation, I think we're possibly good to expect at least that many cars.

PC for NMS, and Horizon is too far, maybe i am going to sell my PS4 and see what happens with the PS4K, But GT is one of my favorite series of all time, The Forza series is making amazing improvement on their driving physics and graphics, also 3 games from Turn 10 and 0 from Polyphony, i just want to see what Polyphony made with all that time they had.

I still think there won't be a huge number of cars. I just hope there is a decent representation of road cars as I am expecting a lot of race cars.

I expect it to be more reminiscent of GT1 or GT3. Scaled down in all areas in terms of content but a much more lean and focused package overall.

I believe, that the models used for the premium cars are significantly more detailed then the PS3 was able to use...at least I remember hearing that

Correct. Kaz said that the cars they were building on the PS3 were more appropriate for the PS4.

Don't really mind if the sound isn't much better as long as it's improved somewhat, I just need me some new GT D:
