All I'm hearing is "I think" and "I believe".

He's basically just saying everything people have been guessing at anyway. Where's the cold hard facts from this "scoop"?

The two streaming devices and Xbox as a software platform for any W10 device seem pretty solid. Other hardware is coming at E3 too. The spring 2017 Xbox is more hazy considering its a year away

new Xbox with powerful architecture, Spring Next Year
Xbox Fire TV Stick equivalent
Xbox Fire TV Box equivalent "advanced"
Xbox Interface coming to PC

Thanks and all of that sounds great! Been waiting for a TV Box or Stick for years. Awesome!

So Ms really think Xbox is a good name to sell vieeo streaming devices?

If the market it well, anything is possible. PlayStation TV was a failure because people expected more TV/apps rather than just a subset of VITA games.

If Xbox TV has UWA + Xbox Apps who knows

Slightly different controller

So they are going to be offering some type of streaming service like PS Now via these sticks and probably stand alone apps. Liking the sound of the new Xbox arch, and I assume the Xbox app will evolve basically be Xbox on PC.

That seems like a lot of announcements, they gotta be pretty fucking clear with the messaging with these devices so people don't get confused....knowing MS they'll fuck it up (hopefully not).

Either way, ladies and gents....the industry standard of hardware for a new gen is certainly never gonne be the same.

Exciting.

Sure, but people have been talking about disc-less / streaming consoles for ages.

And Xbox as a software more or less already exists with the Xbox app on W10.

Maybe I'm just being negative but I heard nothing hype worthy in this podcast.

Some of this is very wonky

He seems confident in what he's saying, but not confident enough to the point that he can guarantee absolute truth (except for the streaming stick)

A pair of "me too" streaming boxes where 50% of the apps don't work outside the US?

Not even a XBO slim?

Is this Tom or just someone using Tom's avatar?

If yes, then Xbox Slim/TV is just 3 years delayed :p

Yeah, it's me :)

I haven't heard anything solid on an Xbox TV at E3, but I know they've had renewed interest in it after canceling it ahead of the Xbox One launch. It makes a lot of sense to do it at E3.

I took it as they are streaming shows and such. Is it supposed to be game streaming?
