Glad insomniac landed a huge deal like this. Loving everything I'm seeing so far. Animations so good. Going to be amazing seeing insomniac hit the epic set pieces with a game like this. I actually like the costume but for those that don't it's insomniac they always do us good with skins/bonus content. Such a good pair up imo.

Would be great, but I guess it won't be done in a AAA way with RDJ and he is way too expensive for a videogame...

But Marvel likely wants to hold onto that veto power.
On-topic, I still wish it was Josh Keaton, but Yuri Lowenthal works.

Game of the show for me... so far.
i see a lot people saying spider-man 2 .. spider-man 2 .. web of shadow had the best swinging in any spidy game.
edit: so happy for insomniac. the deal with activison supposedly ended at 2014.. they are not saying how much time they had with the game but hopefully it will be worth the hype.

I think I'm more happy for Insomniac, there was a time post-Sony when it looked pretty dark for them. This is a huge opportunity for the studio, and given how smoothly Ratchet plays I'm so excited to get my hands on this.

That looked incredible and though I didn't watch the Sony conference live from what I've seen was shown, this was the definite stand out game.

Cool they are experimenting with the look, but come on......just make the spider black Insomniac.
Baby steps.
What is most important is that Activision aren't in charge and it's being done by a dev team that has a proven track record of good to great games.

I think the white spider looks dope, and also serves to differentiate the game. People will see the trailer and think "uh, why does his suit look different?" and then do a little digging and find out that this isn't a movie tie-in shovelware game.
That's Miles Morales. If they want to do a black (or biracial to be specific) Spider-Man, they could go with him. No need to induce change for the sake of change.

That depends on how accurate you want the web-swinging to be. Would you want to re-load the web cartridges?
In theory, it could open the door to other types of webbing, albeit in limited supply.

Neversoft did that 16 years ago! Limited web cartridges, with Fire, electric and poison (?) webbing.
He obviously means realistic in the whole feel of the swinging itself, with momentum and attachment to buildings. No sky webs, no building up speed magically out of nowhere.
It's Peter, he's an optimistic guy at heart. He likes to have fun with his powers sometimes.
