Fact is we all dismissed the idea she was sick as a conspiracy and it turns out she was.

No the conspiracy was that she had a long term, critical long term of not terminal disease like Parkinson's not that she was fighting a case of The Superior Flu.

This idea that her so far mild pneumonia vindicates the conspiracy theorists shifts the goal posts so much that it's basically like going from football to the other football

A few days ago, I was reading about famous people dying and some of the older people died from pneumonia. I thought it was odd that such a disease can kill a modern human. When I read the thread title, I got scared for a second at the thought that Drumpf would run uncontested...

Pneumonia is an infection of the lungs. If you're already weak the added stress of the infection could be deadly. But Hillary is healthy. All those dead celebs probably had underlying medical issues.

Not every 68 year old bounces back from pneumonia in a week either. I'm not implying she is on deaths door but there may be a reduction of events in her campaign moving forward. There is also a chance she may not be 100% for the first debate.

If Hillary Clinton were to drop out due to health issues, the nomination would most likely go to someone interested in basically running her existing campaign. That means running with her current campaign infrastructure, staff, advisors, surrogates, platform, messaging - all of it. That would put Tim Kaine as an obvious frontrunner for the Democratic nomination seeing as he's already one of its nominees.

Bernie would be much more likely to shake things up and do it his way. New platform, new people, new everything. And with less than two months to go that just wouldn't be realistic. It would be a disaster.

Tell you what. Pick someone you know, anybody, just a few people. Now start talking shit to them about a mutual friend, going on and on every day about how this mutual friend is looking odd day in day out, that he or she is hiding something, probably an undisclosed sickness. Keep doing this for months, possibly years. Now just wait for that one time said mutual friend falls ill. The flu would do. Maybe a bad cold. Anything that makes them bed ridden.

See? All those people you harassed with your bullshit fears and apprehensions were totally wrong the whole time.

Clinton got sick. Due to the narrative on the Right that she is secretly dying, she felt it was in her best interest to try and hide it. In the end she was wrong because it hit her harder than she expected. If you want somebody to point fingers at here, point them at the Right for their stupid conspiracies shaming a sick person into hiding that they have pneumonia.
