Wtf I stayed up for this and couldn't order the vita Version so disappointed I was on the webpage as soon as it hit 8 here

Sorry to everyone who missed it :( I know the pain.

That's cool I have another shot but seriously is there more than 1500 people lined up on the website to buy this? I feel they need more copies if they are really selling out that fast :(

That's my hope, too. The Vita versions are all selling out within a minute or two. Thankfully One Way Heroics and TWA have 5000 and 4000 copies, respectively.

That is up to the developer I think. LRG prints what is told of them.

Missed these. Damn you Mexico wireless!
And I'll be on the plane for the second batch. :(

If anyone can help me out. Please let me know.
Looking to order one of each platform.

That's weird.

I don't understand why they keep bringing back 2 per customer at all.

If the game doesn't sell out in an hour, lift the restriction. It's a very simple and fair method, no?
Yea I agree it seems like an unfair method. If I don't get this weeks game that's fine but if I can't get the game from spikechunsoft I'll be super upset.

Missed this batch because i converted the time incorrectly....dammit! Oh well, new shot at midnight for me then i guess

Snagged a copy for both platforms and a shipping box to boot. I'm impressed how well the LRG/Shopify website runs on mobile Safari. Paired with PayPal, it was super easy for me to get my orders in while stopped at the traffic light.

That's the combo I've been using for months, it's flawless.

So using mobile safari would be the best route? I was already using it haha :( I was gonna use my MacBook for the next time limit but I'll try my iPhone again

It never failed me once, the only issue I've had was when Futuridium sold out in two minutes and it didn't load soon enough.

Oops. Stayed out late last night, woke up, looked at the clock... 9:15!!! I rushed to the computer, but it was too late! Hopefully I'll remember at 5:00.

Well, that was more of being one minute after it started and using my 4G instead of a reliable connection.
Sounds pretty reliable if you get the refresh fast enough, I'll try it again later this evening. I got work but I'll use a "bathroom break" to make sure I'm on the website 2 minutes before hand.

Great to see that you're doing a boxed edition of The Silver Case! I wonder if there's going to be a console version in the future though?

I'm torn between my love of early Suda51 and my preference for dedicated hardware, so I'm not sure if I should pick it up...

If anyone missed out on Saturday Morning RPG - reminder that we've got 30 copies on Vita and 30 on PS4 going up at random times today in a bundle with the vinyl.

Also, we just announced that we're doing a boxed PC release of Suda 51, Playism, and Grasshopper Manufacture's The Silver Case HD. We're stoked about this one - will be an old school big box release with physical game install disc and some nice physical goodies (comic book, soundtrack, manuals). Obviously, this will open more doors in Japan so it's great progress. :)

Super excited to announce this finally!

We've been in talks about this since March when Douglas went to Japan and had a meeting with Playism. We are huge Suda51 fans, not to mention he is a really awesome guy in person.

Whoops double post!

Ooh how much is the SatMRPG bundle? I'll have to tell my friend about The Silver Case, he'll love it.

I honestly have no idea what this game is, but I always love collector editions. So this is only PC, and is this localized?

That's amazing! Will this Deluxe Version be sold like the other LRG games (through your webstore, limited amount of copies, etc.) or some other way?

Fantastic news!

Will your edition come with a Steam key?

I told you guys that a Playism partnership was locked! Where's my reward? That's further confirmation that Asterbreed will be an October title.

I always figured if LRG got into PC games I wouldn't be interested - but there's no way I can pass up something like The Silver Case. Never got to play it, but it would be such a cool thing to have a physical copy of. Looking forward to trying it out!

I'm happy to see the Silver Case announcement. I get another physical Suda game and it's good to see you branching out both to Japan and away from just Playstation platforms.

It's our first PC release so we're doing this one as a timed edition preorder to test the waters and see where demand for the platform is. We also need time to figure out assembly and make sure all the manufactured components are up to snuff.

Steam keys will be included by nothing in the box will be dependent on Steam. You'll get a Steam key through email shortly after purchase to play and enjoy while you wait for the box to ship.

We're really excited to be working with Suda, Playism, and GM. Expect more cool stuff in the future if this goes well. ;)

Since it's announcement I've been super excited for The Silver Case HD! Can't wait for the release from you guys :) hope this means more opportunities :D

Thanks for answering, that all sounds great! Didn't think I'd be able to purchase a big-box, deluxe PC edition ever again. Glad to be wrong though :)

The best thing about this news for me is that there's an established Playism relationship. So maybe Croixleur Sigma one day? ;)

Not quick enough for the Dragon Fantasy OST. And I wasn't quick enough for the Rainbow Moon one either. :(

I think my Bank Manager has something to do with this...

This certainly is an interesting project. Think I got pretty much everything Suda Goichi ever released in the West in my collection. It being a non-Steam copy on the disc is a really nice touch too.

Not sure I would support just about any LRG PC release though. I do buy boxed PC releases for games I value highly (Europe is quite good still in that department). But I've found that in the past I've settled several times for digital/Steam copies when they were like $1-2 or so in sales for games that are not super high on my want-list. Meanwhile for consoles, I tend to not want digital copies at all.

I think this has to do with there being more competition and more alternatives on PC between digital stores. It seems more likely that game preservation is going to be less of an issue, with companies like GOG handling backwards compatibility and availability of old games quite well.

Meanwhile, Microsoft's and Sony's digital stores are nothing like that. And it doesn't help that lot of the older stuff in there is lazily emulated, and often just overpriced.

Yeah, that's why we're approaching PC releases a bit differently at first. I think the appeal for PC releases is more fan-focused rather than collector-focused. We're not sure where demand will fall ultimately so it just makes sense to do this as a timed preorder and build to demand. Since the only people involved in producing the components is us, we have the luxury of not being tied to minimum order quantities or manufacturer restrictions that make it harder to do something similar on the console side.

Are these the last available stock you have?

Yep, outside of about 20 or 30 on each platform that we'll use up slowly for giveaways for the rest of our lifespan.
