Pokemon Sun/Moon Special Demo Thread

Ok I know it's about Greninja cause it says Quajutsu

I'm pretty sure the person in the games who will be giving Greninja is probably the other person who had a Battle Bond one "long ago" or whatever. I really doubt they'll have Ash touch the canon. But maybe not?

Interesting note: the Trainer ID number system looks to be different. In previous games, ID numbers maxed out at 65535, while Greninja's is obviously higher.

Have we seen any other ID numbers?

Any idea if the demo will hit the japanese eshop first?, because ill be up late, but waiting till like 11 am european time is way to late for me.

I have a feeling that this demo will get data mined and there will be some code lying around in there pertaining to an NX port, maybe with the name of the system.

Six digit OT numbers? I wonder if that sixth digit is really new, or if it is just one of the Secret ID digits.

Why isn't the trainer ID number 01337?
If you used GTS and wonder trade enough you would eventually get a legendary Pokemon whose OT was Ash (pffft, Ash hardly catches normal Pokemon let alone legendaries...). Usually perfect IVs and Shiny as well. I think a cheat device would deliberately change the trainer ID and OT which is why there so many of them :S

This is the first time I tried a pokemon game and the demo was way too easy, even a noob like me completed it without any difficulty. Are pokemon games always this easy or is the difficulty dumbed down for the demo? I only intend to play offline if I get it so the ai difficulty is very important. Doesn't have to be hard, but at least require some skill.

You are super overpowered for the demo.

The demo is probably easier than the main game, but pokemon games have always been easy, at least if you consider their main story. Side content and post game can be quite challenging, though.

There are also lots of ways to make it harder, or at least turn off easy mode. For XY/ORAS, that would mean turning off Exp. Share. For BW, don't use the free Lucky Egg. This is also the reason Nuzlocke was invented, though that's probably going too far in the other direction.
