Quantum Break was a nothing game. Which is the worst thing something can be. like I remember nothing about that game because it was so vanilla.

I know the others go against Dota, that wasnt the point. I was just hoping for someone who's gaming interests would actually expand the kind of content we see. Its still possible that they will, I certainly hope so. I'm just going off the initial impression.

As for the voice comment, yeah it was kind of random but its just an aspect of Ben that I find annoying and something I wanted to say in the moment. I know its not his fault.

Super Rude Bear and Rivals of Aether dont seem like gtames they would have looked at if Ben wasnt there

Ben is also the only person providing Persona 5 coverage on the West Coast

Weird thing during the Beastcast, but Abby was saying something and went "mmmm...?" mid sentence almost like a question that reminded me so damn much of Austin. He does that a lot.

There's some fun to be had when you upgrade and unlock most of your skills. It still isn't enough, they could have done way better because the combat scenarios weren't interesting. I also hope that Remedy stops with putting important story shit into collectibles. Both Alan Wake and Quantum Break do that shit where there is tons of important material that concerns the story but it could only be found in collectibles.

The best things about that game were

1. Frozen time sections
2. Beth Wilder
3. TIME KNIFE
4. RETURN

Abby was great on the Beastcast. A bit quiet during the game's talk, but a lot of that was industry-specific and that might not have been her jam. Vinny did a good job of shifting conversation to her own experiences at a few points. Deeper the podcast went, more comfortable she seemed to be, and that was great.

Hopefully she continues to be on the show, and the 'video producer cave exile' thing was more about what she'd be doing that day after the podcast recording.

I am really curious as to what made PUBG grab on so much and why H1 King of the Hill, or whatever it is, didn't. At least with the actual games journalists and not just Twitch and other places.

I haven't played either but feel like I've seen the H1 King game forever but everyone is acting like PUBG is something so new. Just seeing it from time to time they seem very similar.

Because PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS is a very focused experience. It's giving you exactly what you want in a very condensed manner while stripping away all the crafting and whatever BS. It also is on the fine line of being polished and extremely janky while still looking good enough, atleast better looking than those other games.

e: The sale is also still going. Rorie said on yesterday's stream that it'll probably end on Saturday.

H1Z1 is way more manic

and if you hear them talk about it on the bombcast, that's not how they play the game.

I don't think the H1 King of the hill has any of that either though?

I could be completely wrong. They just seem like the exact same games, but one has grabbed more attention seemingly moths after the other one.

Ahh. I can see that. The few times I have seen that one it does seem like people are just running around with shotguns the whole time.

Does anyone know if Ben was an intern the last time they played the Saturn properly? It was a holiday stream in the Whiskey Media days if I remember right.
