Destiny 2 CE Unbox: The good, the bag and the ugly

Generally speaking, the more detailed the statue looks, the worse it will end up being. You're just not going to get super detailed work for the price and quantity a CE needs, so the ones that are a bit less intricate fare better.

Agreed.

Please give a me a bulleted list of all the CEs that had very useful items included.

I'm typing this with my call of duty night vision goggles on as we speak.

Seriously did anyone get those and actually use them?

Have every CE release of destiny, love my Destiny swag. Going to have to make room on my Destiny shelf.

Why exactly is there an emergency blanket and para cord?

You'll need to be rescued after looking at that bag?

(I'm sorry, that bag looks like fabric samples as someone above already said)

Solar blanket and paracord are the most random items I've ever seen in a CE.

"SUPER cool paracord for...

Eh.. all those utility needs"

LOL

Unbelievably bad imo the stuff looks well made at least but who would want any of this shit. I can't believe that bag is a real thing.

Paracord and solar blanket is a little ???, and the solar panel - while an interesting item, is so oddly shaped thats it feels a little bulky to carry. The cabal stuff, like the previous CE editions looks fantastic and looking forward to get my hands on it.

The bag. Honestly I can't make my mind up on if it's amazing or terrible. If the quality of the materials is great, maybe amazing. If the materials are rubbish, terrible.

Either way, much like the Ghost edition and the TTK CE, supporting this - Bungie's CEs are "in game materials" made as if they existed in the real world, and you got to admire both the art team and production team for making that a reality - rather than the fan service related nonsense of a lot of other CE's.

Who in the hell thought a bag was a good idea for the collector's edition. What would've piqued my interest is something along the lines of three different collector's editions: Titan, Warlock, Hunter. Each has a high-quality statue, making of blu-ray, art book and soundtrack. I'm a big Destiny fan so I probably would've splurged for that. But a bag? No thanks.

Shit! My fellow vapers at the cafe are going to shit when they see me pull my mod outta that bag and rip fat clouds in their faces.

We need to rid the world of shitty collector's editions (as in all of them) and just give us an edition of a game that comes with just an art book, soundtrack, and maybe a steel case. That's it.

Not sure if this was posted.

Detailed bag unboxing

Alright finally someone did a better job showing off the bag. I'm back on board. At least its made from better materials then I thought from the op video

Can't be highlighted enough - the original unboxing almost made me cancel my preorder, but I'm OK after seeing this better one.

I find the fact that the cabal book is just a box for a softcover booklet much more annoying - Bungie has done much better in the past!

So would this set be worth it for the goodies if it were about $64 new? I already own the game and all dlc up to date, so it would just be for the physical items.
