Does it matter what the ratio is? It's not about the numbers obviously, it's about the mods giving off the impression that they will favour some streamer over the accused snipers and/or harasser. Being accused because some streamer said so? Fuck that noise.
Ofcourse it matters, if there has been 1-2 cases thats an infinitely small % of the playerbase and worrying about it is utterly irrational.
Also you mean the mods that banned their biggest streamer over a TK?
And uh... you are per definition "accused" if a streamer accuse you of it. I guess you mean banned, but thats why I asked what "all this talk" means because that would make it sound like it happens every week. Which simply isn't the case from my experience. I play squads with some 20-25 different people and nobody ever worries about this happening. (and we have had a few kills on streamers, one member even got called "an animal" by a streamer, obviously his proudest moment, even over becoming a dad)
Looking at the subreddit and searching for stream sniping and posts for the last week gives 0 instances of anyone being banned for it, rather it gives a bunch of posts where people discuss how to get rid of stream snipers because its a real problem.
The problem is that if any drama happens around a game reddit and steam reviews tends to get flooded with bullshit that vastly overstate the problem.
