I preloaded the game but didn’t get the additional DLC downloaded as separate entities, I thought I saw it listed as separate files but only got the one file so far, did this happen to anyone else?

Even beyond the 91, it's very impressive that every single review has been positive.

So I saw on Arthur Gies twitter that he said he liked the game so far but had been mostly quiet about it because of ‘ethics stuff’. And I was wondering if I missed something about this game what’s the ethics stuff?

Does any review talk about having the hardest difficulty mode locked behind bullshit requisite like finishing the game once or we have all of them available in the first run?

Edit: ugh, they locked the fifth difficulty mode again, jesus why devs do this shit?

Damn, it scored higher than Super Mario Bros Wonder!

NME also posted their review and gave it 5/5.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is a confident sequel that tells a bold, emotional story and sets a new standard for superhero games in the process. Across a memorable and challenging campaign, a meaningfully expanded combat system makes set pieces and boss fights sing. But it’s the profound side stories hiding in the open world that balance out the superhero stakes with a healthy dose of hopeful humanity.

That is weird. I wouldn’t pick the hardest difficulty anyway but I don’t play games through a second time after finishing it. No time for that.

Yes, that's why it is stupid.

Even more when spidey 1 on hard was kinda of a cakewalk and i had to avoid using gadgets and costume powers to get a bit of challenge, definitely not the optimal way to play a game.

This shit practice that plague the game industry can't die soon enough.

My trick is that I forget about the gadgets and powers at most times. haha. I'm one of those that never use half the stuff in games. I played most of RDR forgetting there was a Dead Eye mechanic. haha

You got to absolutely take your hats off to the team. It's funny because out of the two games that are being talked about a lot coming out this week, I'm getting Super. Mario to play with the kids. I've never been a Spider-Man fan but highly admire the efforts. Even I can safely say that the game you're going to want to get and the game that will be remembered as a far better game is going to be Spider-Man. 2. I'm sure the fun factor of a Nintendo game and playing in co-op on your couch with your kids is something you can't really compare to, but overall the depth, the polish, the overall package is just far superior in this game versus many other games released this year. That is a testament to insomniacs quality as a premiere developer.

I'm looking forward to times like that. My son is only 15 months old. But when the time comes. I'd get both games. haha

Will wait to play this game on my ps5 pro next year ... enjoy everyone 😊😊
Same here. I have to wait, 'cause I don't have a PS5 yet, and at this point, I prefer to wait for the PS5 PRO :)

Seeing people wondering why Edge review takes so long makes me weep for mankind. We arrived a dire state when the concept of printed press seems so hard to grasp.
As for Mary Jane, I didn't like her missions on the first game, these time they seem much better and action focused. Mary Jane has also canonically helped Peter in both comics and TV series, so they make sense.

That's all well and good but they forgot to add necks that work to the NPC's.

they really need to fix the NPCs necks, being able to make a web bridge literally a few feet above enemies and them not seeing you cause their eyesight is horizontal cone only is pretty game breaking, gaf wouldnt let a MS or Nintendo game get away with

Starfield is probably my favourite RPG of the last 2 generations.

brand loyalty is a thing, thats why

its like rooting for your favourite football team, or in playstation fanboy terms, your favourite pony

am i doing it righ?

The great review scores are having an effect on some camp...

so its ok to call out flaws in MS games but not Sony? keep trying <3

npcs in starfield need facial muscles that actually work tho :messenger_tears_of_joy:
The "flaws" you speak of are either a. not very big (unlike the NPCs in Starfield, who have become literal memes), or b. issues that are mainly yours.
