I really don't know what SCEE could show to excite me other then new GG IP and next QD game. Then I try to think of maybe them parnering with some big EU studio and I can't think of one to be honest. Those that are good are taken by someone else.

Don't even think about the developer behind it.

There are teams you've never even heard of working on PS4.

The games they announce are what matter.

That's ten for you, all 'AAA' ones. Bear in mind there are sequels to existing franchises also for PS4, and also other SCEJ/SCEE/SCEA projects coming. More than 2/3 of those '30 titles in development from SCE WWS' will be AAA releases or retail releases. Also, keep in mind that 10 of them are coming beyond year one. Now, our perception of what is AAA could differ (for example, I consider Knack AAA just like I consider Killzone to be), but those are games with strong budgets.

Plus, SCEE has something to show for Gamescom.

Verendus just dropped some greatness in the other PS4 rumor thread for anyone that missed it.

Looks like that October release might be true.

I think you're being a tad optimistic there.

I only expect to see Studio London and possibly MM with the new first party offerings at Gamescom.

I'm not expecting everything listed, far from it, but expectations are high, given so few PS4 game announcements were made at E3 - compared to MS.

Granted, Sony had the Feb reveal, but we are now moving into the home stretch, ready for launch. Alongside a proper look at the The Order 1886, I feel Sony needs to show, minimum, two new AAA retail games, probably more given MS will be adding to their tally.

The launch date is a given, Rift support seems fanciful, but you never know, while Gaikai also needs to be fleshed out more, given it's at the core of their strategy.

Sony themselves announced to the world the number of in-house games in development, they could announce a host of them, and still have Gran Turismo, Uncharted, TLOU, TLG etc., locked away for later reveals.

It'd be funny if Sony had the supply and could come out and announce that they're launching in 2013 in all of the countries that MS said they won't be making it to this year after saying they would. It'd be another good PR point for Sony in Europe.

for those worried about the Live Event Viewer not being noted on that blog post, keep in mind that the LEV is US-only for now and that's the EU blog.

we're likely to be able to watch it with LEV here in the states. there's a chance that they will just stick to the normal methods though if it proves to be too expensive to bother with for Sony. (broadcasting this specific event, that is)

I think Valve may announce some kind of support. L4D3 or something. DemonNite made a Half-Life gif in the countdown to E3 but nothing ever came of that. I'm not expecting HL3 but Valve bringing L4D and some of their F2P stuff over to PS4 would be nice.
