2f of input lag apparently. I thought it might be a system thing but other games like Tekken are fine. Maybe it's a Capcom thing.

I pop in a ps1 motherboard i got for a mcchicken and use an inpin converter. Dirt cheap and far less complex than a chimp board.

Who did allow Smash to be streamed. The fact that their lawyers were asses doesn't mean that the company as a whole doesn't recognize how good PR promoting SMASH at a fighting tourney would be. If they didn't, they wouldn't have okayed in the first place.
Melee will be there in 2014.

For the Capcom games most of the big Japanese players use 360 over PS3.
They don't announce games till early next year.

Not really at all, since they already play on 360 as well. Really EVO was the odd one out so this change isn't a big deal in terms of the games.
The major concern is that this means 3 days of Killer Instinct across 6 dedicated streams.
Eh, if you want to look at it that way, can't stop you.
I just think they learned their lesson.
Are there any games on ps3/360 with as large a discrepancy as sf4/umvc3? I was under the impression that, as far as gameplay was concerned, every other fighter was the same.

The namco games tend to play better on PS3.
CEO is going with both systems, whatever plays the game the best.
Injustice runs better on 360 too.
I think I've heard that with Tekken, and then you also have that a lot of Tekken players play on pad and that's hard on 360 (to say the least).
But yeah, ideally, it should be on the version where the community is strongest. It's not like EVO doesn't have ps3s. Should just put it to a vote.

We need a BBCP US release date. Hopefully it will come out early in 2014 and not in March.
It should be a traveling production. I would like to see how EVO would do in an east coast city like New York or Philly, or in the midwest like Chicago.
Edit: And the Las Vegas Hilton isn't even cheaper compared to Paris, etc. Maybe cheaper to Caesar. They charge just as much as if they were on the strip.

There will be discounted rate, so that should help. But yeah, LVH isn't known to be a cheaper off strip hotel so I'm not expecting much discount.

Who plays that anyways? People only play netherrealms games for the payout. Nobody plays those games seriously. Still see anyone playing any mk game besides ultimate 3?
Again, pretty interesting swap and it's good to see the EVO staff accomodate games based on where they perform best. RIP in peace #PS3Lag during Capcom games. 
You just know it's coming back. It's a part of the 100K+ crew and the players fucking brought their A game on stage. Nintendo actually (gasp) liked what they saw at the event too.
