On Kotaku they said Sony was demoing some games in San Francisco today and they removed DC and didn't demo it. I don't know if that's any confirmation but it's interesting

Yeah, I've tried that. Turns out no one cares. Shit, even when #PS4NoDRM was going on my podcast was getting about 350 listens a week.... lol.
Purely based on the footage and dev interviews, Rime seems to be an open world action-adventure game with a bit of platforming, kinda reminiscent of Ico.
If The Chinese Room's previous games have shown anything, Rapture will probably be a barely interactive walking simulator where you explore an environment as some narrative is being fed to you.
ouch.....this is really not looking good, I mean DriveClub is the racing game that was going to hold a lot of people over, sadly EA must be smiling because we now only have one option for a AAA racing game.

From a games standpoint at launch the xbox one is looking better (as you can see with my avatar, i`m a big sucker for Dead Rising), but i don`t care because i want the console with the best multiplat versions and as we all know MS underdelivered on the hardware front this time and the PS4 is the way to go with its better GPU and RAM solution (excluding PC of course).
That being said, for me personally the PS4 launch lineup is one of the worst since i`m started gaming. They really didn`t do a good job with their launch lineup.

There is, but when you're willing to buy a console at launch, Indie games aren't going to cut it imo. I have no interest in Knack anymore and I'm not a fan of Killzone. If I'd kept my PS4 pre-order, I'd be buying Driveclub, Resogun and Watchdogs only, if no delays were announced.

Yeah. It's a double edged sword. When news people want out comes around I'm told it, negative stuff I'm not told as much anymore (though i did hear this... now by multiple people btw). But, at the same time, the more shit I get right the more other people who know stuff start talking to me. So it's like a rich gets richer kinda thing which is somewhat unfair but hey I'll take it.
But, like, when I went through that horrible shit earlier this year and was down in the dumps it gets weird trying to figure out who actually likes you as a human and who just wants info about stuff.
It's weird. When i started "leaking" things it was in the very close-knit vita thread and I never really saw it turning into this. #ps4nodrm was probably one of the cooler non-family/children things I'll do in my life.
It's also nervewracking because not only do I not want to be wrong in front of so many people... but I also don't want to be banned. So each time I say something that ends up high profile like this im on edge until it's official.

You are arguing that this game will be as good as the best PGR game, which was in 2003, and you want to put Drive Club on the same pedestal as Gran Turismo, Forza and Mario Kart.
To make this argument work you have decided to discredit some sites on metacritic, in hopes of muddying of waters and to be able to somehow argue that Drive Club will be just as good as the games ive mentioned.

Yeah, no. I am very confident, as confident as i can be that Drive Club will in no way shape or form will get 90 on MC. And guess what else? I hope i am wrong, i hope this Drive Club is this fantastic triple A title that is going to kick ass and take names, doubt it. But we will see.
Neither of us have played this game, so we are shooting here, i am confident that DC will (sadly) not be this "AAA" mega title.

Rapture is not really defined by 'game types' in the traditional sense. As far as I understand it, it's a "first person exploration" game. You get this open world to go around, where everybody has disappeared. As you play through the game, you can search everything from draws to cabinets to boxes for "clues" as to what happened and an explanation of it.
The game is designed so the more times you play it and the more areas you explore, the more of the "full picture" you will get about what's going on. Whether that "full picture" is still interpretive or not I don't know, but it seems to be a very nontraditional gaming experience, ala Dear Esther. Only this time it's much larger scale.
Yeah, the guy has a few really great ones on there. Check out his Nobuo Uematsu FFVII remix and my personal favorite Intrepidity.

PS4 has such a huge lineup of games does it really matter if Drive Club gets delayed to ensure it will eventually bea quality release?
I mean there is always Killzone 4, Knack, Contrast, War Frame, and Resogun. Not even mentioning 3rd party stuff like Assasins Creed 4, NFS Rivals, and military shooters galore.
