Microsoft is behind on Xbox One because they are secretly in negotiations to merge with Nintendo. Nintendo is going to kill the Wii U in 2014 and create games exclusively for Xbox One. Can't even keep up with this thread anymore. But then again, it isn't the final right? With all the features that need a patch, I'm guessing there are quite a bit of the online features that wouldn't be working in this video.

That is a little odd actually. When the 360 was put as demo units you could quite easily go to the dashboard and mess around.

However this time it's probably nothing. Demo kiosks aren't connected to Live anyway.

Sounds like a rushed launch. I'm sure it'll be ironed out over the coming months.

Which is better? A rushed launch where you ruin your reputation? Or launching late and building hype with a truly great product? Just seems like MS has been dead set on launching with the PS4. And on top of that, they abandoned whatever vision they had for the XB1 the moment they started the 180's. Doesn't seem like they have a long term plan

I suspect the talk of them having trouble will end up being at least partially true. I’d call it a “gut feeling” but that’s probably just that habanero I ate yesterday causing issues.

Early September, but only shows the surface level UI and the game being played while accessing the UI. Looks very smooth but the kid said it was buggy, and not many features are available yet.
