I should clarify that i meant the resolution difference in Ghosts is arguably a larger difference in graphics between multiplat games than any difference we saw last gen on PS3/X360 between any multiplat game

It's hard to compare resolution differences and framerate differences but a 125% higher pixel count is insane

While I understand the sillyness in the overall argument, his response makes perfect sense. The game IS going to be output at 1080p. The tweet being responded to isn't saying "1080p is better than 720p upscaled to 1080p?" It is saying "1080p is better than 720p." To which he responded appropriately. Every game IS upscaled to 1080p. native or not, it is still outputting 1080p. It is being spun in a positive light, and you can't really argue it in this instance. He is dead on.

I see tons of "all my friends are getting XBO's" when discussing multiplatform games, and I'm left wondering, why? Is it just the friend list?

of course, we know that more people are pre-ordering PS4s, so it's much more likely all your friends are buying a PS4. I'm sure there's some people out their who have lots of Xbros for friends, but on average the friend effect looks more likely to favour the PS4 at this point.

the friend list effect happened because the Xbox 360 had a one year head start, was cheaper, and had the better multiplatform games. I see no logical reason to think it's going to continue to favour the Xbox One (and no evidence of it happening either).
