DF: PS4 COD frame judder caused by frame rate HIGHER than 60fps

On a side note, this means the PC port really is shitty though. If the PS4 version runs in 1080p at 60fps and beyond, it makes it even more embarrassing that the PC version can't hold this frame rate even with SLI'd Titans lol.
Well you needed a fairly strong card (compared to PS3/360) titles to run games at 1080p60.

You would imagine you would need a much stronger card (compared to the PS4) to achieve the same result this time around.

WHere in THEE fuck are you located? MJ was on an Olympic team for God's sake.

Not that I completely disagree regarding how informed one would be on who he is nowadays, but the fact of the matter is there's a real international bit of history to the man.

Im from peru, you kinda proved my point, that was more than 2 decades ago.

Its not about KNOWING who he he is but recognising him. I have always known about Michael Jordan, up to this day i didnt know how he looked after the movie he made.

OK, this is getting ridiculous. I mean, wow... why would somebody in some other countries care if the US won a gold medal in basketball in the 90s, or whenever that was? You guys are overrating his popularity nowdays... Jesus.

And what is Space Jam? Never heard of it. I know that there is a video game called NBA Jam, though.

do europeans at least know who Shaq is? if not, can we remedy that?

Shaq Fu? I remember him from AVGN and I though the name somekind of a joke. Wait, he was a real basketball player? Cool I guess.

I like how this thread has become about Michael Jordan, lol.

Anyway, Michael Jordan is not some minor league celebrity of only national interest. This is a man who has single-handedly generated billions of dollars for Nike, appears in countless lists of the most powerful global celebrities as ranked my income / influence, and holds multiple olympic gold medals. Come on people.
I think for the guy who originally posted the question asking who he was, it comes down to two things. First, obviously if you're outside of the US it is less likely that you know how much of an international legend he is. But secondly and more importantly, it's age. If you're a young 20 year old outside of the US, the larger arc of Michael Jordan's international commercial relevance has pretty much circumvented your life. Younger people in the US today still know Jordan as legend, because he's still a US celebrity, but he was only a universal celebrity for an older age bracket of people around the world.

That's my take on it. Sorry for going wildly OT

Edit: outside of the US, I guess the thing his name is most known for is his crazy prolific shoe line "Nike Jordan's"

Why don't they use V-Sync? I'd assume there has to be a reason for it but can't wrap my head around it.

So this basketball thing is finally getting of the ground eh?
Most Western Europeans will, just as Kobe and Jordan. But there are other parts of the world. But they are a hundred times more famous then American Football athletes here.

My disbelief came from the idea that someone could say "not relevant because region" versus "not relevant because generation". Sorry if I sounded abrasive though, I should probably tone that down.

Edit: @Aust: Oh ok, I gotcha there. I was actually going to include that previously (recognizing vs. knowing) but promptly forgot.

It also feels weird coming to the realization that MJ might just be an Amurica only phenom. That and I'm getting old. :(

Oh my god, this sounds like the perfect ending to the whole drama. Who could have thought of something like this?

What a crazy ride with the resolution-, comparison-, review-, framerate,- 1080p patch- and now high-fpsgate, so hilarious :D

Wasn't this a quote from Penello or at least someone from MS and not Sony? Or is this some roundabot meme that requires knowledge of basketball to understand?
Yes, which makes the patchwork of quote, title of spokesperson, name of spokesperson, and image even better.

I'm PRETTY sure some Microsoft person said that about Sony... but i don't get. Let's keep sports memes to sites where the members normally... well... play them?

EDIT: Ok, well either everyone on here is a 30+ year old basketball fan or i'm just really out of touch with the Bird/Jordan rivalry thing lol
