Out of all the bad videogame webcomics, which is the worst?

Just... Just look at it.

I had managed to forget it Lionel, how dare you man!

So judging by the thread, you fellas don't like Brawl in the Family? I think it's a pretty cool, warm webcomic, with more heart than the average and an enjoyable clean sense of humor. Not every comic is a homerun, but when it happens it hits the ball out of the park.

I actually usually get a good chuckle out of Brawl in the Family. I like the art style too, it's simplistic but...cute, I guess? Seems to fit the subject matter, though.

It presented a critical moment and a serious, grim subject with the same timing and tact as a punchline to a joke. It also didn't help that it wasn't a comic known for tackling serious life issues in its plot.

Plus the newspost Buckley wrote defending the comic from this exact criticism was pretty much "this happened to my exgirlfriend years ago, it was hard at first but now it's no big deal, you get over it"

Also, I'm glad no one mentioned Shredded Moose. It deserves to be forgotten.

I remember a while back for some reason I tried to look it up and was pleased to see it had actually fallen off the internet. I hope nobody ever unearths and archives it.

It's like adult Link's head on child Link's body. Who would actually share art this bad.
I've shared worse on NeoGAF. I recognize that my life is much worse for it though.

Wow.

Well at least your money went to getting him the expensive supplies he needed to really demonstrate his artistic capabilities.

Sigh.. I used to really like CAD waaaay back. It was a fun strip to follow. Not sure what happened :-/

I think my favourite at the moment is virtual shackles. I appreciate the amount of effort they put into the comics, although they can sometimes be incredibly random;

Way back when I lurked those YCS webcomic threads there was this one that had a subplot at one point about one character sleeping with his cousin after catching her masturbating with Rez or something. I forgot the name of it but that was the worst I ever saw.

Runner-up to Shredded Moose. That may or may not have been a troll comic but still

CAD was also terrible for the last 6 months of 2013. It became some weird serious comic about PS4-headed soldier fighting Xbox One-headed soldiers making terrible jokes about console war shit.

And it went on FOR MONTHS, only broken up by the weird-ass 4-players-that-murder-each-other-all-the-time comic.

A while back when I was in between gigs I tried dipping my toe in the videogame webcomic bidness.

I completely lost interest in it, thank goodness, once work picked up.

I (rather stupidly) decided to look up CAD after seeing this thread to see what all the fuss was about, and was greeted by the most recent comic, 'Lost in Translation' - in which the author compares the reaction to Xbox One's DRM with Playstation Now, and uses the analogy of the names of the two services being the reason why people were upset with one over the other (ie.- the message sent out.).

The author decided to supplement this with a written explanation, that boils down to 'Everyone bitched about XBO DRM but no one's bitching about PS Now even though they're the same sort of thing!' and finishing it with the ludicrous statement that Microsoft were just 'thinking too far ahead into the future.'. Ugh. I decided to check the comments on the comic (which led me to the forum), where people were keen to try and point out the differences between the two things. Then the creator of the comic (Tim something?) jumps in too, arguing against a few people's opinions, and after having his arguments rebutted, leaves the discussion with a stupid, dismissive 'Well let's agree to disagree' comment. Wow.

Homestuck makes me sad because Problem Sleuth was so legitimately funny. I can't muster the effort to make it through Homestuck because it feels like it goes so far up its own ass so quickly.

I absolutely despise Tim Buckley and his webcomic. From the fake charity to flashing his dick to an underage girl, he's a giant package of disgusting, plagarizing, sameface.

Is it ironic if this thread exposed me to several good webcomics I didn't know about? I spent the last two hours or so traveling back the entire archive of Awkward Zombie; indeed the expressions are just awesome. I tried to select my favorites but, um, ended up with a whole lot of them, so I guess I'll just link them (one per word).

There's quite several from different Zelda games.

Also Professor Layton.

Not to mention Pokemon.

She definitely doesn't like Miranda. :D

Plus assorted others like Fallout, Portal 2 and WoW.

Also, this happens to me all the time.

CAD is awful

Though if I were to think of a good web comic. Does Hiimdaisy count as a contender for a great web comic when she was still doing them? I miss her video game related comics. I think most people though know about her through the Persona 4 comics, and their respective fan comic dubs on Youtube. If you haven't seen them, here's 30 minutes of your life well spent: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w7lj9qI8VFc
I have never played any of the Persona games, and I'm sure I shouldn't judge their overall quality after watching that video, but are the games really that bat-shit insane?
