I (rather stupidly) decided to look up CAD after seeing this thread to see what all the fuss was about, and was greeted by the most recent comic, 'Lost in Translation' - in which the author compares the reaction to Xbox One's DRM with Playstation Now, and uses the analogy of the names of the two services being the reason why people were upset with one over the other (ie.- the message sent out.).
The author decided to supplement this with a written explanation, that boils down to 'Everyone bitched about XBO DRM but no one's bitching about PS Now even though they're the same sort of thing!' and finishing it with the ludicrous statement that Microsoft were just 'thinking too far ahead into the future.'. Ugh. I decided to check the comments on the comic (which led me to the forum), where people were keen to try and point out the differences between the two things. Then the creator of the comic (Tim something?) jumps in too, arguing against a few people's opinions, and after having his arguments rebutted, leaves the discussion with a stupid, dismissive 'Well let's agree to disagree' comment. Wow.
