GOTY Picks Blog is a site that tallies all of the GOTY awards from every media outlet. The last major awards for 2016 were handed out in late February, so the GOTY race is over and the site can now crown a winner. Good choice. Uncharted 4 is just an unbelievable game.

Really nice to see Last Guardian in the top 5 as well! (wish The Witness could have edged into top 10, it was my GOTY)

It's unfortunate that the entire internet along with lots of critics seem to have a Sony bias.

And they'll probably change that to a Nintendo bias this year. Absolutely disgusting.

Nothing will come close that I can see. The game is just well done because all the quests are done uniquely and not fetch quests or kill # to advance. It told a really good story and ended perfectly with blood and wine which kinda made me sad.

Uncharted 4 absolutely deserves it. My #2 game of all time.

2017 looks like it will have more GOTY quality games. 2016 had other good, maybe great games, but not GOTY-quality. Horizon, Zelda, Red Dead, it's going to be interesting.

I don't hate U4, but seeing all the praise it gets confuses the hell out of.

I mean if 2016 was a slow year, I'd get it. But we had Doom, Dishonored, Titanfall, The Last Guardian, Dark Souls 3, Inside and freaking Overwatch in contention.

U4 is like a prettier but worse version of U2 with a grappling hook. OK, I'm exaggerating a bit. Whatever. I just don't get it.
