Xbox event: Make your predictions GAF

Speak yo minds. I'm thinking something along the lines of:

-It will just be called 'Xbox'.
-They'll show the console. 2 versions: Premium core version (big HDD) + TV top SKU
-They will reveal their partnership with EA
-Not backwards compatible.
-Does not block used games
-Kinect will be built in and mandatory (they'll go in depth on the improvements of Kinect 2.0)
-Very few if anything game related will be shown

The kinect is going to mess up in some way....just like at E3.



Real Prediction:
Reveal of NEW Xbox live gold service and features.

Game wise: Alan Wake 2, something by Rare, EA deal of some sort (explains why they weren't at PS Meeting), 343 stuff, Lionhead announcement, Turn 10 announcement and other third parties (GTA V Next gen?, Bethesda game (Fallout 4?) and such)

First half hour will exclusively talk about apps, DVR functionality, etc.

The second half hour will be about games. Game predictions:
- Halo 2 Super HD
- Ryse
- Black Tusk Action IP
- New Lionhead IP

What I foolishly hope happens is that every single rumour about the console turns out to be the complete opposite. No Kinetic required or bundled, always-online not required, and used games allowed. Other things I'd like to see announced (like free online gaming) have zero chance of ever happening.

Talk about the hardware (specs)
Talk about main features (streaming, apps etc)
Talk about Xbox Live Gold
I think we see Ryse and maybe a 3rd party game like COD

I would say they will have B rated actor or actress hosting.

they show the box right away with the new controller

they will go over how the dpad is not a piece of shit anymore

They will start will talking about Xbox Live and how it brings people together.

they then show the next Xbox live and new features.

they then shift to Kinnect and show Kinnect 2 and what it can do

shey will show a few new Kinnect games

for hardcore games they will show a few 3rd party titles and maybe some teasers for 1st party titles.

I can see a big focus on the console being for the Living Room.

-Lot's of deals with companies such Netflix
- Kinect all over because that's what families will buy for their kids.
- Some amazing FORZA goodness because they need to give something to the Hardcore to play it.

And there's more but I won't repeat what some fellow GAFfers already told.

Oh and most important:

- Big, huge focus on USA, Apps, Deals, Services only available to the US.

- Big Ignore on Europe (maybe aside from UK) and Japan (maybe?)

So this might going to sell big in the US but I can't wait to see them trying in other territories.
