Ubisoft revealed its earnings for the first half and second quarter of FY2018, providing some information on sales for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Since the game released right after the reporting period, sales figures aren’t available. However, the company did note that 45 percent of all sales were digital, which is a 10 percent increase from Assassin’s Creed Origins.

I believe it's been the same for Black Ops 4 (at least in England). I still think it's ridiculous that you pay more for digital, considering you can then no longer sell that product, but I'm embracing our digital overlords nonetheless.
