I hope this game's MP is slower paced so us older gamers can have a chance again.
So hyped!!!For those who haven't seen this in the other thread.

I wonder if there will be some type of extra VR experience like the last time. D-Day VR, or some kind of model/battlefield viewer.....damn
That will never fucking happen, especially with Nazi tension rising these days. You are opening up the door for a PR nightmare.I get you, I totally do. Especially after learning about the german army, their culture, and general psychology. It's fascinating and eye opening. Some of them weren't blatantly villainous, but just outstanding soldiers fighting on the wrong side.
I would love a German campaign highlighting bravery, brotherhood, and honorable soldier acts. Would be so unique and could break new ground in the historical approach.
Would highlight the travesty of war all the more.

Also if anyone's looking for some new-ish WW2 stuff to watch the 3-part documentary "Five came back" on Netflix is pretty good. It's about 5 great filmmakers and their experience in the war, presented by Spielberg, Coppola, Del Toro, Paul Greengrass and Lawrence Kasdan. It's well produced and a very interesting perspective on the conflict.
I am just happy there won't be any jet packs this year.
I'm so glad the era of jumping space soldiers is finally over!

Same here but I hope they finally get some vehicle combat right in a COD game.
That's the best part to me that's why I'm ok with this. Sledgehammer can do old era,Treyarch can do modern or future whatever they plan next,I don't care what infinity ward does honesty not to keen on there stuffI mean, there's two other COD devs that have their own vision for COD.
Wish they would do "What if" scenarios.
That's the one thing missing from whenever these games do historical times.
If they did this I would laugh/cry myself to death.

No please no. We don't need vehicles in CoD, keep that in Battlefield.
There's probably gonna be zebra and 420 skins for your bolt-action rifles.Dont see this doing too well (comparatively in CoD terms). The population has been steadily decreasing with each release for the most part and I really dont see all the "kids" who make up the majority of the CoD players getting into dirt and mud and bolt action rifles when they've been used to super fast double jumps and zebra camo skins.
There's probably gonna be zebra and 420 skins for your bolt-action rifles.
i just really hope they dont play it safe.

Destiny 2 is calling. lol
I said this in the other thread and while I like the excitement in this thread, i remain skeptical.
In the last three years we have seen 3 futuristic CoDs with one pretty much set in space and the twitch gameplay, on the rails level design, brain dead enemy a.i have all remained the same. The best parts of Infinity warfare were the space ship battles, not the FPS combat. With them finally focusing on 'boots on the ground' gameplay again I am not convinced it will be anything more than 'Oscar Mike Ramirez to the LZ' gameplay.
I would LOVE to be proven wrong. I would love to see a true reboot. BF1 showed that just changing the setting doesnt matter, you have to put time and effort into creating a cohesive level design or you risk being just a brain dead boring shooter.
I dont want them to go full Killzone, but they have to have great enemy A.I to make every encounter challenging and lots of flanking routes instead of pushing you through a small corridor.
Otherwise, it's just going to be a skin change and didnt we already get that with CoD4 remastered last year?
Anyway, exciting times. This might be start of something special. A true next gen reboot designed with next gen ideas in mind. this could be the CoD4 of this gen. i just really hope they dont play it safe.
If they did this I would laugh/cry myself to death.

This is pretty much exactly how I feel. Except, black ops 3 is my favorite cod since 2
Thank god for Destiny 2
