This is actually making me optimistic.
Yeah makes you wonder why the fuck they didn't just show this at the show and I don't get why these gameplay visuals look better than the E3 trailer's gameplay visuals.

Considering they've said there is more elements of destruction in SP and it just isn't shown yet, then there's nothing much else to say is there. That's not a good response when you know people are going to start posting Guerilla gifs.
It's a valid question and the developers response to it leaves a lot to be desired when Guerilla handled it just fine. They could have turned it into a mechanic, cause too much destruction and citizens start to turn against you and other agents come out to take you down.

People just choose not to listen, they'll come in and act outraged about this game and in reality, they don't give a toss and are jumping to conclusions.
Are there any videos showing the destruction in MP?

Only from 2015. They aren't showing any multiplayer at E3. At least not on the show floor.
Trying to wrap my head around it. The SP mode has no destruction as was shown in the initial Crackdown 3 trailer, however MP does, because of the cloud?
It's not that hard to understand.
Online competitive : cloud, full destruction
Online co-op and single player : no cloud, standard destruction (probably on scripted locations)
Where are you getting standard destruction from in single player?
Unless I've missed something, they've been vague about the level of destruction in single player.
It was our goal to do a proper Crackdown Campaign game and whilst we might not be dropping buildings, there is a hell of a lot of destruction in the game. I'm sure soon enough you'll see some of the new toys we've made let loose on the world, not least what happens when you destroy a street full of traffic.
And pop up a notification that the achievements for collecting orbs is no longer possible in this playthrough. That or mention a magic fairy that comes and rebuilds buildings overnight.
This seems like such an odd decision. But thanks.
They've been vague but also stated in all interviews that there will be stuff to destroy. That's why I supposed it will be at least on scripted events, but in any case we know there is standard (not cloud-based) destruction in SP.
No CD1 was a barren ugly game for its time.
I love the game, but let's be honest.
edit - In fact CD1 was suppose to be on the OG Xbox and it showed.
.
I just wonder what we'll exactly be doing in MP and if the destruction is still as impressive as before.
They said in an interview yesterday that in MP you had to destroy the other team's part of the city before they destroy yours.
I think the game looks beautiful.
Don't care for this game, but with regards to destroying buildings in SP, it might be a design decision.
Example: You blow up a building which might be an essential platform or trampoline in a later section of the game or you destroy a bridge that would have been the scene of a set-piece.
It's not much but here's that little bit of b-roll in 1080p

That wouldn't work. If u could level buildings in the campaign you could finish the game in a matter of a few hours. The problem u are trying to solve is an age old game design problem tht has no solution but head to head combat.
I just really cannot get excited for this game, I have been trying, but it ain't happening.

Nice!
Again I'm not seeing how the graphics are bad, at all. The art sytle is cool to me :shrug
Yeah, that's how I read it too.I took that to mean vehicles and tiny structures like bus shelters, fences, etc, not buildings as most would assume when they hear there's destruction in single player.
They could clear this all up with a proper demo, but that'd be too easy.
Nice!

This is the best thing i've seen for this game so far, nice find!
Makes me feel a tad bit better about it.

Does it have campaign co-op?
Does it have campaign co-op?
Yes, 4 players
...Jesus.
This is a disaster.
