Can anyone tell me where this game stores its save files?
Gameplay has actually been praised as been quite tactical and precise. (ie flinging a throwing knife to hit an enemy's thrown potion mid-air, or using flames on undergrowth to trap enemies in a propagating fire that also blinds them with the smoke)See, with this game I don't care for the gameplay and asthetics at all Floaty and sluggish (can't think of a better word) fighting and - to me personally - completely unappealing graphics and design.
Sorry, I really do appreciate your post, but that game's not for me.

The hell are you talking about? I've heard it controls pretty damn well. Like character action games well.
Ohhhhhhhh. My b.Talking about Unexplored, not Dead Cells.
Holy crap this game looks rad, ticking all the boxes for me.
It's real good. I wish I could take this on the go.
Early Access isn't a measure of quality, ie Rimworld, Invisible Inc, Divinity Original Sin, etc. But this certainly is one of the best in terms of feeling fully realized, rather than like a skeleton of a gameWow, this game is shockingly good. I'm surprised it's early access. One question is, is there a way to earn gear that I bought with cells besides buying them with gold if I can find a shop?

Copying and pasting my post from the Humblebundle sale thread.
This game is a revelation for me.
OH
MY
GOD
Full Disclosure: I'm coming off of a 6 week 126 hour BloodBorne binge.
I had seen Dead Cells in our "What game are you Literally" post, where many users have debated the use of "Literally".
I did not know it was on Early Access now. I bought it and I just spend the past 74 minutes smiling ear to fucking ear.
Guys, Girls, Animals, go buy it NOW! It's...ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT!LITERALLY
I can't believe I have to go to work now, I'm going to be thinking about it all day.
GIF PROOF G.O.A.T
EDIT: Ok I seriously can't stop ocd'ing. Example of why it's great.
1. Animation is on point. There are some things they'll need to touch up, but damn good.
2. Runs great. There is some minor graphic bugs, but for the most part on my system it ran great.
3. Feels great. I'm a huge proponent on how weapons/guns feel in games, they got to have umph to them.
4. Controls like butta. Smooth, all natural, grass fed. BOVINE UNIVERSITY BUTTA
5. Look at it. Jesus the artwork, the animation combined, just, ugh.
Ok leaving for real, someone go buy it, then comeback nerd out with me and tell me "Damn Coma you're right, this is fucking great, I'll play a progressive metal song in your honor".
Man I would kill for this.I mean

(I might actually bite for a mobile version, too)
I had the Blueprint for that whip. Then I died.
Is Incomplete One the end of what's currently in the game?
"soulslike" has become a mark of mediocrity and genericity for me.

I know the description includes that saying, but this is a Castlevania rogue-lite. You could apply that same "souls-like" description to the Castlevania games this title is clearly drawing inspiration from, so don't let it stop you from playing it (assuming you enjoy CV titles).
Is it like rogue legacy in that you can carry over stats, buffs etc even if you die? When you beat a boss does it remember?
