So the switch isn't even stronger than a Vita?
In fact some might even say the PS1 is more powerful.
Okay, back in reality mode -
It doesn't really seem like we know what Switch can do yet. We have some clock speeds which may or may not be right, and even if they are, aren't telling us a great deal.
Switch wouldn't get games like RDR2 even if it were stronger than Scorpio. I mean, Western third parties will always just pay lip service to Nintendo.
I think Switch if played right can get Japanese third parties on board which are looking for a home (PS4 IIRC is not doing very well there) and become a home for them along with the fading AA market.
So let me ask - what would be the point of Nintendo releasing a beast box? When they won't get that AAA Western support anyway and people are already buying those games in other ecosystems?
And for what it's worth, it sounds like handheld wise, this IS a beast by any means. Sure, it can't beat your iPhone 7, but your iPhone 7 is hundreds of dollars more, and not a gaming-focused device. Can Scorpio beat a good gaming desktop?
I have a Sony Playstation 4. I don't need a Nintendo Playstation 4.
