And that folks is how you get Twitter followers. Make the vaguest of statements predicting something will happen. Then you are certain that you will get credit for the tweet for even the smallest announcement

They don't need more than 6 months to promote this game. The market is there for it, 6 months of marketing will get the word out to those who don't follow gaming news and then BAM, release.

I believe Todd Howard or Pete Hines have even said that that's how they want to handle things from now on. They want to minimize the length from announcement to release as much as possible.

This guy just needs to bring his own game to E3 with a decision of 60fps or 30fps set, getting a bit late in the game for that not to be sorted yet. Promising 60fps at the reveal was never going to be a good idea, Battlefront in particular is going to be fun to watch with DICE saying the game will have those kinda visuals at 60fps on consoles. Good luck dice, you're gonna need it! The Black Ops 3 news leak is looking mighty fine as well, really looking forward to their SP demo as E3 as always.

Just one prediction.

Zelda will be there it just wont be playable. I say this, because I can't rationalize it not at least having a trailer, there's no way to explain that.

What's in the trailer has me anxious though. I mean I don't want to argue, this is not what this is, but I really hope they don't listen to the internet and change Link, I hope Aonuma/Nintendo is smart enough to know that not everyone is ok with that, and that a playable Zelda is a perfectly fine middle ground.

my problem is that there are too many games that we've been given general 2015 dates for, and we're due for release announcements, it kind of scrambles my radar with what i think could be announced.

i want new ip's and fresh ideas, and i want those things on PS4. that's all, really. lets get those easy throw away announcements out via the PS Blog before E3, Sony. drop some bombs for once.

Sony participates in so many events that it becomes an issue picking content and/or spreading content.

They'll continue to have this issue until they figure out the right balance.

I wonder if the smartphone games Nintendo is going to show/announce (if they do) are going to be old IPs they aren't using anymore like Waverace, Famicon Wars, F-Zero and Metroid while having the big hitters like Mario, Zelda and Animal Crossing on their Handheld/Console

Until I hear otherwise I'm sticking with the former. Though possibly a spring release would be odd, but I could see it happening too.

Rime and R&C are first party. And Level 5's IP probably is too.

I'm not sure why some people think Deep Down's going to be at Sony's conference, let alone a beta announced there. It's not coming out any time soon, Capcom's prioritising Dragon's Dogma Online.

Same song and dance before every E3. And Gamescom. And that one PSX event. I won't list TGS though, 'cos that's been shit for years so no one has bothered to drum up excitement for it (and then it rather disarmingly got good again last year, but whatever).

Not to shit on Bruce or anything, and god knows he's delivered in the past, but I've been hardened by enough previous event shortcomings to not fall for this catch-all, hype-mongering kind of tweet anymore. Not that I'm constantly disappointed either - I'm not - but this whole very broad "Be stoked!" schtick tends to elicit nothing more than an eye roll now.

Maybe if he were a little more specific.

I only see TLG showing up if its out the same year. And it wont be out this year. So its not going to be at E3.


Sony really need to just officially kill that game at this stage and let people move on and give up.

I could see TLG being shown this E3 if Sony plan to release it in the first quarter of next year. Releasing it during the fall would be commercial suicide for the game anyway.

Unfortunately, Zelda won't be at E3 this year :( But Metroid Wii U would more than make up for it though.

Where did he that rumour? He works for Sony's most treasured developer. Across the table at lunch, at the watercooler? Or did he just read a Tidux tweet? Like, who would he get a rumour from that he'd still consider a rumour? So odd.

Surely, at his level, he knows how to handle a secret/NDA. I can't imagine a head Naughty Dog overhearing something from someone and not being able to discern whether it was bullshit or completely true.

Just attention seeking.

Depends on your definition of AAA I suppose. Until Dawn and Ratchet & Clank Redux are still lined up for 2015.
